Mixed Feelings

These are cute shorts that were released after each episode premiered in Japan. Though they may provide a bit of information they mainly just make fun of the show and it's characters. As for the comedy they're usually hit or miss, but since they're a bit under 2 minutes it's not a huge waste of time if you don't think the joke's funny. The Chibi art style is pretty simple and can easily be compared to the anime Wooser's Hand to Mouth Life. If you haven't seen Gargantia then I'd recommend watching these the way they were intended (episode 1, special 1, episode2, special 2, etc.) It's a cute and fun touch to the original series.

Not Recommended

Short review for a short waste of time. I was not a fan of Gargantia the series, so I thought about checking out the specials which are usually cute/funny enough to forgive their parent. WRONG! DEAD WRONG! These VERY short omakes are a complete waste of time. They do absolutely nothing. There is no plot. The dialogue sounds like they just told the VAs to improvise. The art/animation is comparable (if not worse) to amateur Flash movies you see on the net. There is just no effort put into these bonus minis. I wonder how the VA's felt as they were doing these. I actually liked KnK's omakesbetter, and I rated those a 5/10.
