These OVA’s are just fluff and fan service. They don’t have anything to do with the plot or characters. The art style is mostly the same as the rest of the show, but it has less camera changes and less time all together, with each OVA being about 3 minutes long. Additionally, these OVA’s obviously had a much lower animation budget than regular episodes, as the characters mouths don’t move, and, as I previously mentioned, there is less movement and camera angles. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this to people who watched No Game No Life. It doesn’t contribute anything to the series, and might degrade your opinion ofNo Game No Life.

Just made me lose respect for the series (which is overrated anyway!). Animation is very lazy but maintains the same bright and colourful style of the anime which I liked. I can't even remember what the music was like so obviously nothing special like the opening of the show. It was just unenjoyable boring fanservice for most of the time. There's an entire episode that just body shames girls with flat chests which is pretty pathetic. Not worth a watch, will lower your opinion of the overall franchise.

This is a short series of ecchi fluff nonsense and fanservice, so if you don't like that then I wouldn't recommend this. On the other hand, if you do like that... well boy howdy do I have the thing for you. I wasn't expecting to enjoy this, especially with the many negative reviews. But it was surprisingly entertaining for the most part, though got a bit too rediculous even for me a couple of times. The episodes are pure storyless silliness, which normally I would criticize. The main reason I am not panning this is because the episodes were all 3 minutes long, keeping them fromdragging on. This entire series of shorts will only take you as long as watching one episode of a normal anime would. For the majority of the episodes, the animation was more towards a storybook format, with mostly still frames panning across the screen to vaguely give you an idea of what is happening (or provide fanservice). The actual art looked fine, though was mixed in with real photos occasionally which was mildly odd. The sound was as silly as the shorts, but it worked. You are essentially listening to the story, and the sound effects and music connect to the dialogue ably. I rated this a 7 because for what it is, I think it fulfills it's purpose well. If you want some brainless fanservice absurdity starring the NGNL cast then this is for you. If not, steer clear.

When it comes to OVA's and specials its hard to tell what they wlil be like. Some act as ways to add in a bit more story. Some act as mini brief random situations. Some... falll under the category of pointlessness focusing on the parts of the show no one likes. No Game No Life Specials fall under this category. It is sad to see something that could've been fun to this. They could've made these specials to act as a way to see more games played out. It didn't have to be part of the story they could've just done random games. This waywe could've gotten waht is great about No Game No Life. Overall not worth watching. SCORE - 3.5 PERSONAL ENJOYMENT - 4.0

WHAT THE HELL IS THIS?!?!?!? All I can say is that it's just the personal life of the characters. Literally what I don't want to know. I like ecchi a lot, don't get me wrong, but why? WHY? There is no point in doing this. I know, it's an extra bit for the DVD and Blu ray whatever, whatever, whatever... That, I don't care. I know it's a special thing and whatnot. That, does not make it any better. It ruins NGNL. MAL needs me to write a longer review, but there is no point to. I think I have to make this longer. Oh well, thisparagraph should make it long enough.
