Misaki Chronicle: Divergence Eve
みさきクロニクル 〜ダイバージェンス・イヴ〜
Through the long distance warp called the "Exodus Project", Worns, Ryer and the other crew members of "Watchers Nest" manage to escape from the Earth. Misaki, who was attending the final battle with "Ghoul" at that time, isn't present there and before her eyes, the earth changes and gets enclosed by a time barrier. Ryer and the others search for a way to escape from this space time maze, but the earth changes to various forms. Innumerable "Nows" appear due to varying time axes. And also Misaki, who should have disappeared because of the Exodus Project incident, still afortiori. Before Ryer and the others, different forms of Misaki appear. The Misaki from training school, the Misaki from her childhood days. Are these reflections caused by the conflicts that exist inside Misaki? She awakens a second time and when she derives the response, that history is leading into a completely differnet direction now. Will Misaki, Ryer and the others be able to find a real happy end?! What else to say? Perfect end to an outstanding series. Every element used is well woven into the story, and some of the episodes were really touching. The struggle Mizaki is having, trying to fix things she sees as wrong, and the consequences of her actions are so well depicted. Every thing is explained and put to order, so nothing is left unresolved and all ties up are very well done, which is not common to animes nowadays. You end up really cheering and worrying for the characters and their struggle, and the final episodes were a fine piece of tie ins, explaining/solving every aspect of what was happening andwhat was the enemy they were fighting, and how to defeat it. Especially nice is the end, where we see humans not giving up, and the final episode is very, very touching! I loved this anime from first episode of first season to the last one of its final season. There are some ideas that reminded me of the movie Event Horizon, and even the space shots at some times reminded me that movie. Very well done art on this, imparting the feeling it needed in every episode Ah, also touching is what we see when Mizaki is struggling with the enemy...where we can see that the true bonds between father and daughter could not be severed completely, no matter what. As the first season, a true jewel in any collection, and one of the best Science Fiction animes I ever saw!

I gotta say, this was my real first anime I watched growing up. I didn't really know what to expect, and I didn't really care about the boobs. The story was just so dark, which was so interesting to watch as the colors and characters were rather light. I gotta say, I loved this anime through and through. It was great and I would highly recommend it! The music was rather fun and the theme song is great and memorable. I loved all the sound effects and like, electronic music used for when the shields are being powered up and such. The characters are all cuteand it's interesting to see their origin stories grow with the show. I really enjoyed how this second season started out in the perspective of Misaki. I found that rather delightful and refreshing after how the first season ended.

What a refreshing change of pace for an anime series. I can't think of even one anime series based in outer space, where the crew of an intergalactic space station is piloted by enormously endowed hotties. Oh wait a minute...that's not entirely true. There's about a million of those. And Misaki Chronicles is exactly like every one of those series that have come before. That being said, I didn't dislike the series. Misaki Chronicles is the second season of Divergence Eve (which in my opinion was pretty good). The series starts out great, exporing how Misaki ends up joining themilitary and the training she goes through. (Just a side note: Every member of the military in the year 2305 seems to be a beautiful woman with giant breasts and waists the size of my wrist...sign me up :) However, as the series progresses, it engages in time-space distortion. Tricky subjuct to explain with even the best script and MC is not THAT well written. Some super hardcore sci-fi peeps might have understood what the hell was going on, but they lost me somewhere along the way. And after that...it was over for me. Story 5 As I stated before, the series had its ups and downs. For the most part when you mix time travel with space mumbo jumbo you had better have some seriously good writters in your corner. Misaki Chronicles didn't have it. It did have a couple suprises though. Spoiler *not all the main characters survive the entire series*...kinda. When people die in a series....it jumps up points automatically because heros die...that's all there is to it. Charater 9 The reason im giving this series a 9 in character is not becuase MC designed some groundbreaking cool characters. The reason they get a 9 is becuase every main character (woman wise) is completely friggin' georgous. Kick-ass cool hair, breasts the size of small moons, and voices that scream "sex me up". Fanservice galore spills overboard with tight uniforms, nudity, and hotness in every which-way. Some of the girls you like, some you put up with, but all-in-all...fantastic. Art 8 I love the way this series is drawn. Beautiful colors, orignal (though unrealistic) costumes, the use of shading...all very well done. The small details they put into every inch of each frame is noticable. However, the obvious difference between the drawn cell and the CG is painful. I'm not a huge fan of CG to begin with, but when its not even remotely blended into the frame work, it just drags it down. Overall 7 Some people might have completely understood every episode and followed the series without missing a beat. Good for you :) For me...the confusing techo jargon they used to describe space situations just threw me for a loop. But i'll sit through pretty much anything for a glimpse of a hot little anime girl stretched out on a bed wearing nothing but her birthday suit :)...and that happens more then a few times :)

DE2 - Misagi Chronicles is second season for the divergence Eve series. As a story it generally is about wormholes and multiversal string theory. In first season, they explain how human started to experiment with multiple universes in order to travel faster than light in space. End of that series was that the base constructed around anomalious planet that allowed this travel, jumped inside the anomaly and was trapped. This was due invasion of "ghouls", aliens from another dimension. Now this series deals with the multistringular theory, and the crew is forced to travel through different times in order to figure it all out and to savethe main character of the series. However asfar as i can see, theres only a slim storyline and people are drawn to watch the series with different means. Theres a serious boobies and panties lure, lolicon attempt with mecha & androids. Several shower scenes unrelated to storyline telling (yes, full frontal nudity) and so on. IF you want a good story, try something else instead... really. Mecha lure is only nominal, as the puppetry beetween these 3d models are sluggish, 2d movement, as if the models were made of plastique instead of hi-tech servos. Voice actors are also badly acted, in both dubbed and original versions. The girl with oginava axcent is actually dubbed by english actor, giving similar laguage difference, which hurts my ears to the point it bleeds. Unfit character translation if any, if you ask me. Theres way too much going on here wrong, if the series is attempting to be taken seriously, every girl in the series has DD or more in cupsize (well the droid member is adulessent, so he has b-cups, everybody uses short scirts which are way too low with pretence (hey, its future army dress code), space outfits are describitble by designed by leotard pervert, who prefers bikini bottoms. They even do this intentionally, as breast also arebouncing all over the place. Overall, developers should have used more time to develope story instead of thinking what lures the most people... In my case, they went totally wrong, theres no reason to fill the girls with DD and space outfits shold be more of the space kind, rather than the beach kind.
