Nora to Oujo to Noraneko Heart

Take everything that you're expecting from this anime from the synopsis. Then throw it out the window. This anime isn't about anything that it said in the synopsis. It's about silly scenarios and random ideas played out in interesting ways. There are no real plot or characters that matter. The animation isn't very good. But really none of that is important. Nor is its failure to meet the synopsis. That's not what it's trying to do. It's trying to be weird funny skits. And personally, I think it succeeds at that. Compared to other shows in the same genre/idea such as Teekyuu and Ai Mai Mi, I feellike it shows a greater variety of ideas and surprises me more often. I feel like it's able to vary up its own jokes and ideas more often as well. And so personally I'd consider one of the better shows in that genre/idea. And so if you like that stuff I'd consider it a worthwhile show to watch. Don't go into it for whatever is written down in the synopsis, go into it for the random comedy skits. They're quite well done.

I don't know where to begin with this show. On one hand I think the show is terrible and isn't worth my time, but on the other hand this show is actually enjoyable and is one of those short shows that isn't cringe-worthy (other than the animation) and you can actually watch without wanting to skip any episodes. Story (2): You can't review what doesn't emerge until episodes 11 and 12. Art (5): We all know that shorts have terrible animation, but this show turns that terrible animation into something special, so while it does not look good, it still looks good. Sound (7): Thevoice actresses sounded wonderful, although some girls sounded the same and I couldn't tell the difference. Character (4): I didn't play the VN of this so I didn't know who all these girls were, but besides that, none of them had a significant part in the story so I often found myself forgetting who was who and where they came from, since new people would arrive out of nowhere. Enjoyment (10): Goats

Nora to Oujo to Noraneko Heart, an adaptaion of a visual novel, is a chaotic mess to put it simply. You read the synopsis and then wonder how the show will execute this premise with 3 minute long shorts. You then proceed to watch said shorts and then realize it is no way related to the synopsis and that the synopsis is probably a description of the visual novel. There is no semblance of a story here which would be excusable considering it is a short however even with the skit format used in the anime, it's all over the place, makes no kind of senseand it's not funny or entertaining. The art is probably the best thing about the anime and it was quite good. The animation on the other hand was atrocious. The characters are nonsensical for the most part. Also the characters are treated like the audience is already familiar with them or the story they came from. For someone that hasn't read the visual novel, it would be hard for me to feel any attachment to the characters and the humor that is attempted throughout the anime fails in my opinion. I derived most of my enjoyment from Nora to Oujo to Noraneko Heart from laughing at how bad everything was and seeing how bad things could actually get. The apex would definitely be the now infamous episode 6. Also the fact that the anime isn't a huge time investment makes it easier to get through. It's a horrible anime that I wouldn't recommend but from what I was able to piece together from the show, the visual novels seems like it might be worth checking out. If the show's purpose was to serve as an advertisement for the source material then at least it did it's job. P.S. I'd like to thank this anime for providing some top quality meme material, for that you shall forever remain the #GOAT
