Honestly I liked the Anime, but this movie is just 95% reused scenes from the anime. The originaly 4:3 scenes are cut to 16:9 which gives the movie a realy zoomed in feeling. The story is exactly the same as in the anime (no wonder since its a recap), and if u have seen the anime i cant recomd it because of the problems mentioned above. If u havent seen the Anime, i would recomend the anime more, but in case u want to have it in movie form its watchable, but not recomendable. Thats how i come to my scores: Story: 8 Its the same story as inthe anime, which is a decent story. nothing extremly briliant, but good enouth to be enjoyable. Art: 4 The art realy suffers under the cutting, often a scene seems zoomed in or it looks like there should be more in shot Sound: 7 The OST is good, nothing to listen to hours on end, but good enouth to support the movie. Character: 7 While the caracters are generic in some aspects they are unique enouth to other anime to be interesting. Enjoyment: 5 As mentioned above the movie suffers a lot under reusing of scenes, that hampered my enyojment a lot. It may be different for someone who has never heared about Full Metal Panic, but i believe such a person wouldnt have heared about this movie. Overall: 5 Overall 5 because of the shortcommings as mentioned above. i realy cannot recomend this movie to anyone interestend in a good experience watching it. If u are a huge Full Metal Panic fan my review shouldnt stop u from watching the Movie but if u are not and just wanna watch some Full Metal Panic again, then i would recomend u to rather rewatch the anime, u wont miss anything from not watching this movie.

Although, I gave an overall 7 to this movie-series, I enjoyed watching scenes from the series again, especially the relationship between Kaname and Sagara. The whole story in 3 episodes is a recapitulation of the series, although I would have liked to see some new scenes or a different story between Kaname and Sagara. I think the animation is better than 20 years ago. I like that they kept the soundtrack, but also that they introduced a new ending sung by Yamada, Tamaru in every movie. I think it will be ok to watch again for those who enjoyed watching the anime. Characters: 8 Story: 9 Overall: 7
