Yet another great movie from the date a live universe. Even though this is a second part, in my opinion, this part is better than the first. As a date a live fan I really enjoyed it, and I can highly recommend it. With this review, I would like to evaluate both parts. The main plus is that fact that it is extending the story of my favourite character Kurumi. The story is very intriguing so you won't be bored. Mainly because good animated fights and well-fitting music. I read a lot of reviews that were picking up the animation. In my opinion, the animation is good. Maybeeven better than in Date A Live III.

Date A Bullet: Nightmare or Queen (2020) They say a 10 is something you can watch over and over again. This is one such show and not just because Kurumi Tokisaki is the best girl to come out of all of anime. The story continues directly from the last Date A Bullet segment and comes to its finale that then leads us to season 4 of the main Date A Live show when it comes out. It paces itself really nicely and has a nice twist to it that makes for a great episode. The art is superbly done and very high quality. The soundtrack and soundare of really great quality. The OP and ED are both awesome. Kurumi's personal soundtrack is awesome as usual and iconic nowadays. Characters primarily around Kurumi develop and you really understand her much more than ever before if you are anime only. You see her when she was not even a spirit which was super cute, as well as her friend Sawa. Hibiki makes a great character on this one too. Should see more of her going forwards it would seem. The episode is really great and memorable, definitely a fine addition to the series. 10/10.

The conclusion to a side story nobody asked for with a character inexplicably favorited by many a gacha game player purely on her design and nothing about her character or role in the series. If you couldn't tell, I'm not a fan. If you haven't seen season 4 of the main series you may be left scratching your head, as the later half of this spin-off relies on you having knowledge of Kurumi's backstory, which isn't explained until then. Looking at it that way it's slightly more interesting as a continuation of those story beats, but seeing as I still don't care for the character inthe first place it can't really save a mediocre show. The plot was predictable and boring, telegraphing it's only real twist so hard you wonder why they bothered trying to make it a twist, and making sure to kill off all those boring characters introduced in part one who's names I'm sure you don't remember. It wasn't horrible, just nothing remarkable here to make it worth watching if you're not some weird Kurumi stan. 7/10

Story (6) : Just like the previous review, more or less the same, the battle is also decent but there is no hype yet. And the background story is still lacking. But this is also important for Kurumi's Story that we doesn't know, But it doesnt really well executed, but im not saying its bad either Characters (6) : Same as before, but this new villain called White Queen just mediocre. Like we're not really get to know the depth of this White Queen very detail Visual (8) : Same as before, but the fighting animation is still lacking for the combat, and the choreography of thisfighting. Audio (7) : Same as before

I rated the 1st part 7/10 but this gets 5/10 . It gets messy. Spoiler Free(not much of a story to spoil to be fair). Majority of the cast is irrelevant, they're just girls with weapons. Kurumi's past is touched upon and tt's actually straight from the DAL visual novels, in other words canon, but it's done very poorly as if creators didn't want to spoil too much DAL's next season plot. If that was the case they shouldn't have tried to cover Kurumi's background story. Logic of the story gets even worse. Just like last time, Kurumi's bullets freeze in midair only to go back and hitthe enemy or Kurumi herself. I guess Kurumi can telekinetically control her bullets now. Bullet effects make no sense. Aleph, the bullet used to accelarate time, is used to push a huge pillar without touching it as if it was a kinetic attack. Dalet, the bullet used for reversing time, hits enemies, fatally wounding them after, freezing midair and going back. Higoromo got robbed out of a lot of screentime due to certain plot twist and that hurt her character severely. Overall, it could have been better. Story 3/10 Art 7/10 Sound 7/10 (lovely ED) Character 4/10 Enjoyment 6/10
