This is my first review. A few spoilers ahead!! Well, this was... something. After watching Primo Passo, which I thoroughly enjoyed, I was expecting a little more from Secondo Passo. I know, they couldn't do much in just 2 episodes, but I really wanted to see more of what we were used to from the first series. Anyway, let's see what we got. Story 6/10 It was basically the same as Primo Passo. A guy is going through some stuff and he hears how Kaho's playing her violin and everything seemes to miraculously turn for the best in his life. Well, yep. Don't expect much from this, ratherthan a new bishounen going through the same plot as everybody else.
There are two more characters added to the plot, though not unnecesary useful. They were "the bad guys" here, though they were not given enough screen time to actually dislike them.
Also, the plot has a few holes, I had a lot of questions through the episodes.
Art 9/10
Awesome change of animation, the scenery was really good all the time, and the characters were as handsome as always. No comment here.
Sound 9/10
Really beautiful scores played along the two episodes, nothing less to expect from a music anime. The sound effects were more realistic than the ones in the first series, and it was really nice hearing two new soundtracks featuring the beautiful voices of the anime's voice actors. (I must've listened to "You're in my heart" over 50 times by now xD)
Character 7/10
As said above, three new characters were added in this mini-series, although they are not developed to the point of reaaaaly liking or reaaaaly disliking them (I know, I know, just 2 episodes). For Kaji Aoi, who was the male lead here, I felt it wasn't enough time to realy get to know him. Rather than being a cheerful guy and having problems with his music, I did not feel attracted to root for him at all. At some point, I was mad at him for getting all the attention of our girl, heh xD
Then, there was the new school board director, Kira Akihiko, who was supposedly the bad guy in all this but he passed just as a jerk, so I really did not give him any attention whatsoever.
As for the third guy (I can't remember his name, though I'm sure it was mentioned once) was simply put there to get on Kaji's nerves, even if he's got plenty of that. He was unnecessary to the plot, in my opinion.
I am really disappointed that the characters from the first series were given so little screen time. I would've wanted to grow some romance between Kahoko and one of them (*ahem* Len *ahem*), but there was no such thing. I got the feeling that they were not important anymore, well, they weren't, but still, I expected a little more action from them, too.

I really love music and this has been really fun to watch, for a fan of La Corda D'oro Primo Passo.
Overall 8/10
It was sort of ambiguous, but I liked it.
If you liked Primo Passo, you should give Secondo Passo a try, but don't expect it to give you more than you already got.
