Dad is a Hero, Mom is a Spirit, I'm a Reincarnator
父は英雄、母は精霊、娘の私は転生者。
Being a girl of both spirit and human blood, eight-year-old Ellen has power over the elements—though not the traditional four-element kind. She has the power to transform her surroundings by manipulating the elements of the periodic table. On top of that, Ellen also has a great amount of scientific knowledge due to being a scientist in her past life. During the war against a neighboring kingdom, Rovel Vankreift, the hero of the Kingdom of Tenbahl and eldest son of house Vankreift—as well as Ellen's father—was fatally injured. However, the spirit who fought by Rovel's side, Lady Origin, brought him to her realm to save him from the clutches of death. Lady Origin, who happens to be the Queen of the Spirit Realm as well as Ellen's eventual mother, is one of the most powerful spirits in existence, making little Ellen quite powerful in contrast to her innocent looks. But even a family as happy as this one has its fair share of problems, as Ellen and her parents are forced to reconnect their old ties to the Vankreift household in order to defend their relatives' honor—all while hiding Ellen's dangerous existence from the public to preserve their undisturbed happiness. this show is literally "generational guilt" propaganda, and the mc is objectively the villain in the last ep. the "royal family" is cursed for something they did so many generations ago that they dont even have records/memory of what actually happened. and the current king is an ass, sure, but i wouldnt really say a villain, and the kings son is DEFINITELY not a villain in any regard, but is treated as such until the very end, further reinforcing the "generational guilt" propaganda angle of "you can never make up for what your ancestors did". but since its a kids show and we need tohave a happy ending they take the "fine i guess we'll help you after all" route, completely ignoring the fact the whole reason anyone needed help is completely the mc's fault. american politics propaganda in my anime in 2025, amazing.

What an aimless series. I liked the political story, it was just so poorly parsed out. The story they were trying to tell could not be done it twelve episodes, and it shows. It starts out interesting, but it was clear early on they don't know what kind of story they were trying to tell. It feels like pick up and drop every piece without completing them. Did we really need the isekai element in here too? I'm so sick of these elements shoehorned into every series. The purpose it served here was ultimately unnecessary with how they used it. She uses magic for Pete's sake.If she was a normal human tinkering with the actual tools from her trade in the other world, it would be a different story. That's not what happened, though. She just wills things into existence. I could have easily written the isekai element out. There's no reason to assume spirits that use magic don't already have an innate understanding of how everything works on a molecular level to even be able to manifest things via magic. I would argue it's in fact implied. We don't need the dang reincarnation/past life/summoned/video game aspect in every series. Just make it another world. It doesn't have to have a connection to a different world. I swear, if Lord of the Rings was a Japanese anime, Frodo would have been a Japanese businesswoman that got asked to return an engagement ring moments before getting hit by a bus. She'd then wake up with the ring in the Shire, staring at her hairy feet. They'd probably try to procure rice and soy sauce at some point. They'd probably stumble upon and befriend a little talking creature too… Anyways… This could have made a decent political drama. There were just too many distractions, and it feels like a bait and switch at the beginning. The fact it's a little girl steering all of it made it very strange. I don't think they knew what they were writing. I highly suspect we're seeing at the very least partially AI stories as of late, and this is an example. It's not as blaringly obvious as Onmyo Kaiten Re:Birth Verse, but the signs are there. Seasonal slope is getting to be a bigger and bigger problem. Streaming services are just trying to fill their catalogs with whatever cheap crap they can get.

Ellen is definitely one of the most annoying main characters of anime history, with "miss perfect" syndrome. She has both parents that love her. Her IQ is over 8000. Her skills are unlimited. Everyone loves her, trusts her, and she's basically a God. Now, for the other supporting characters: everyone fawns over her, and everyone is helpess without her - nevermind that she's literally a little child that talks like a grown adult and knows things that are impossible for a kid to know - everyone just worships her. As for the villain characters: Their IQ is less than 80. They are impossibly dumb and none of theirevil acts has real justification or objective, it's all shallow evil. Not only that, but some of the "villains" like the Royal Family aren't really evil, just wronged by the fact that their ancestors did evil things. (Other reviews also mention this issue and claim that Ellen is the real villain and the Royal Family is the victim, for example). This anime has zero character development and no clear genre. It's not a funny anime, it's not romance, it's called "isekai" but has no true aspects of the isekai genre, it's not action, it's not adventure.... This anime is nothing, really. They tried to appeal to the "family relations" but failed miserably at it, since all families portrayed don't have any development or improvement: Ellen's family is all roses and rainbows from start to finish; Vankreift family is disfunctional with a father that spends too much time fawning over Ellen and forgets he has a daughter (and this issue is never truly addressed!); and the Royal Family is barely explained and just seems like an overall dysfunctional family (where is their mom??). TLDR: The animation is good, the characters annoying with shallow personalities, and it looks like a 8yo wrote this story.

" A very fast paced avg isekai " This had potential at first but things gone downhill very fast due to fast pacing and a aimless story . They literally added too many tropes without completing them e.g political , romance , fantasy etc tropes . This anime has nothing much too offer except some fairy fantasy cliche . Some characters are likable but doesn't improve your watching experience overall . Ending is very fast paced and poorly executed , they literally introduced too many characters at end just within 2 min without much explaination . Anime shows some political tension between mc family and royalfamily , despite of getting harmed again and again by royal family tricks our mc never went to last end by punishing them instead of it mc tried to fix everything after seeing her enemies into pain and grief . These ideas doesn't work in fantsay tropes , some people might enjoy these kind of tropes but i am dissapointed due to wasted potential . Hope not to see another season .

The first paragraph of the synopsis hooked me. I went in expecting something akin to other titles that frequently make use of the protagonist’s expertise, like Dr. Stone, Honzuki no Gekokujou, or Kenja no Mago. Sadly, this wasn’t the case for this one. The MC’s abilities were barely explored. Despite being a scientist in her previous life and now having the power to manipulate matter and conjure anything from the periodic table, the MC only made coal, diamond, silver, gold, and medicine. It also felt like it abandoned its hook. The MC’s scientific background was never maximized and the show became focused on medicine. It’s like itwanted to be Isekai Yakkyoku during the last arc. Quite disappointed that the MC doesn’t apply her previous life’s knowledge as much as she can.
