A Couple of Cuckoos Season 2
カッコウの許嫁 Season2
A lot has happened for Nagi Umino and Erika Amano: they were swapped at birth, learned of their engagement, and have started living under the same roof. The two now share their home with Nagi's sister, Sachi, and his crush, Hiro Segawa. Despite this unusual domestic situation and frequent quarreling, the group is beginning to settle into a life together. However, the return of Nagi's childhood friend Ai Mochizuki to Japan complicates things. Ai suddenly declares her intention to marry Nagi, and although he turns her down, she is committed to having him all to herself. Now with four girls around, each with their own thoughts about him, Nagi must figure out his own feelings and the best way forward. [Written by MAL Rewrite]

Bad, just horrendous. First season was a bit intriguing especially because i love fake couple trope but second season just boring and painful to watch. Harem grew larger and making the mc even more wishy washy. pls which girl u like cus u said u like her and her and her... cmon bro. All characters are also flat and just badly written, no depth at all. Comedy aren't that funny. A bit annoying fanservice too. It's just boring, mid, and painful to finish. The whole story just goes nothing, no clear plotline or whatsoever, we just watching them talking and competing to be the winnerof mc's heart which not even worth it he's so chopped 😭😭 Sad cus i thought it has potential and interesting premise....

Honestly, this is one of those shows this season that makes you think. Did I really wait years to watch this new season only to get flabbergasted over the cliffhanger towards the end? The protagonists went from being grounded to reality despite humoring parental decision making to downright bewilderingly stupid teenagers that mistake any relationship as a multi stage process with complicated interlocking components milled to spec. How did this show went from okay, it took them 24 episodes to show me something happen. To now 36 episodes and still am waiting for something to happen. The ONLY ONLY REASON, why I even continued my watchthrough. Was AI, a rather matureand cool headed childhood friend THAT OFCOURSE GETS LITTLE TO NO SCREENTIME. Okay maybe a second, Sachi cause I find it hilarious how she is potrayed as a down to earth common household daughter that mistakes family bond for romantic attachment to.... incest? , stupidity?. Frankly IDK, Quite possibly the lamest anime to air this season.

Being quite honest I don't know how I felt in the 1st season because it's been almost 3 years since it was released, and I've never seen an anime decline so much, especially in relation to the protagonist, I've never seen one as bad as him, in much of the anime a non-existent comedy is forced, especially in serious moments that stop being serious because it's always taken to the comical side (which is very bad by the way), and everything for him seems like it's the first time because he always seems surprised making a silly face, the romance is a mess from beginningto end since he's very indecisive in relation to the girls, Erika (future bride) 'plays' with him so much that it gets angry to see the protagonist not have a decent attitude and try to change the course of the situation so that there is an advance in their relationship, Hiro (school friend) who he says he likes so much leaves her aside several times, I believe that no girl would consider being with someone who acts like that anymore, Sachi (non-blood sister) I don't even need to comment, it's already a It's a mistake that she's a possibility, and Ai (childhood friend) doesn't even exist for me because she doesn't add anything to the plot. Anyway, he dedicated himself so much to his studies and didn't evolve at all, the only bad part is trying (and failing miserably) to be funny, which he even seems to have inherited from his mother (those who watched the whole thing know what I'm talking about), and one thing is certain if there is a sequel (which is likely to happen) I won't waste my precious time with this work, even if I don't follow the original to see if it improves, I don't care to see it anymore.

Although I hesitated between "Recommended" and "Mixed Feelings" for Kakkou no Inazuke S2, I ultimately decided to go with "Mixed Feelings". Considering it’s a sequel to S1, you might enjoy it if you liked the first season, but if this S2 were a standalone or a first season, it probably wouldn’t be worth your time. The second season adds a new character to the cast, which works to some extent. The same type of comedy as in S1 should make you laugh at times, but there’s a big issue with the pacing and the plot. While the first season shone with a believable story and realisticcharacter reactions (though it also suffered from poor pacing), that’s not the case anymore in this sequel: most of the mini-arcs are far-fetched, and it sometimes feels like the characters have become dumber versions of themselves. It remains entertaining enough, I guess, but it could have been much better. Furthermore, there isn’t much progress in the story, and considering the first season had 24 episodes, that’s definitely a con. Regarding the animation, once again, I think it was better in the first season (though I’m not 100% sure). There aren’t many animated scenes, the designs still look nice, and the anime tries to include a few good-looking moments here and there, but it’s clearly not one of S2’s main strengths. All in all, the result is a bit underwhelming. If you enjoyed the first season, you can still watch S2 and enjoy seeing this small cast of characters again, otherwise, this anime doesn’t have much to offer besides the continuity of the story.

Okay, so "A Couple of Cuckoos" Season 2... Let's be real, it had its ups and downs. Nagi and Erika are still super cute together, and their whole crazy situation is fun to watch. But sometimes it felt like the story was just going in circles. You know, like they'd get close to figuring things out, and then BAM! Misunderstanding. Again. 🤦♀️ Hiro's character got a little more interesting, which was cool, but that love triangle? Ugh, so frustrating! Like, I just wanted to yell at them to talk to each other and sort things out. The show still looks great, and the music iscatchy, so it's easy to get sucked in. But I was hoping for a bit more progress, you know? More character development, maybe some bigger plot twists. Overall, it's still enjoyable, especially if you liked the first season. Just don't expect it to blow your mind. 😉
