Well we have another boring isekai slop entry #101: the unassuming protagonist with a mundane, boring life suddenly dies and gets reincarnated into a fantasy world with ridiculously overpowered skills. The MC is pure of heart, effortlessly solves every problem in just a few scenes, has a reluctant "I just want a simple life" attitude, but inevitably ends up saving the day every now and then. Yeah, definitely original. The MC is about as bland and forgettable as they come. I genuinely can’t remember his name, or anyone else’s for that matter. The only name that stuck was the baby dragon, and not because it’s goodor memorable, but because of the nonstop, grating baby noises it makes. The MC doesn't just have plot armor, he has full-on plot convenience where everything falls perfectly into place for him 100% of the time. No real struggle, no tension, no suspense—nothing. Even basic tasks he has zero experience with are executed flawlessly. I could go on listing examples of how shallow and illogical the story is, but that's not worth the effort. The writing is as basic as it gets: bad guy does bad thing → MC gets angry → MC solves problem instantly. Animation: Standard mediocre isekai fare—dashing speed lines to fake dynamic movement, lazy character designs. Visually, it's not the absolute worst, but nothing special. Save yourself the trouble and watch something else. This is straight-up garbage—exhaustingly boring, even by low isekai slop standards.

Shit was exhaustingly boring, even for isekai slop standards. I watched it on weekly release and always forgot what happened last time because it was so mundane. Also, the title is misleading, MC's gathering skill is only viable when the plot demands it, otherwise he is just op like every other isekai MC, and he got an annoying baby dragon that won't shut the fuck up, like really annoying, the main reason I wouldn't recommend it is because of that squeaking dragon. I guess one positive point I can name, even though MC got a bland and friendly personality like every other isekai MC, hedoesn't have a harem of girls who want to suck his dick; in fact, nobody even considers to suck his dick, and he has real friends, even male ones. So yea pass on it, let it rot in the trash it came from.

Let’s start with the most important part-Takeru. He’s a solid main character likable, not annoying, and actually easy to root for (which is already a win for an isekai MC). Bee the dragon feels like Pikachu… but with less charisma 😅 Cute? Yes. Iconic? Not really. The vibes are there, the spark is missing. The anime moves at a good pace never too slow, never rushed. The characters are good, the adventure feels fun and relaxed, and the whole series gives off cozy RPG exploration energy. The opening song is 🔥 and honestly one of the highlights it’s hard to skip. Overall, I had a really good time with it. Recommended for fans oflight adventure anime who just want to enjoy the journey without heavy drama. Score: 6/10 And yes I’m definitely waiting for another season.

This is yet another average trash isekai anime, and while I like isekai, especially trash isekai, this misses the mark. The animation is average, but the animation and character design is bad, which makes it look subpar, it's ugly and there is no escaping that. When it comes to the story, early plotlines are predictable and characters are bland, the pacing is slightly 'off' and as a result this series struggled to hold my interest and about half way through I did find myself watching some more enjoyable series as a palate cleanser until I forced myself to finish it. Somehow it's just a bit dull and Idon't know how they managed to achieve that. I like slow life anime, I think if it stuck to the core premise of the MC being a gatherer and just did a slow life series focused around that and did it well, I would have enjoyed it. But this went down the generic average path where the MC is actually an adventurer who is so self-less and plays down his abilities to the degree that it is annoying (other series have done this and it is annoying when they do it too) with characters you really just don't care about as they are only given character development at the point we're supposed to care about them which makes it just feel forced, rather than develop the character first so we care about them before we hit their 'story arc' Even though they went for the generic option this could have been enjoyable as a trash Isekai, the kind you switch your brain off for and just enjoy its over the top non-stop hijinks. All the piece are here, it's just ineptly put together I think this is what is so annoying about this series, it's not bad per say, it's just mediocre and as such manages to become dull at times.

First and foremost, forget the title. Although there is resource gathering in this show, it is exceedingly shallow, having the over-used trope of the MC having "Analysis" as a magical ability, which allows him to pick up anything and everything worth any amount of money. The whole resource/material gathering aspect is only there to keep the plot progressing forward in other ways. Realistically, although the MC considers himself a "material gatherer" after a few episodes, it's more the fact that he's extremely honest about wanting the "slow life" and "cute girls", so even though he's busted OP, he thinks material gatherer is a nice niche to slot intoto have said slow life. The rest of the show boils down to "adventurer party isekai" and does not deviate from that. The MC is OP, has OP comrades; I mean, this is far from a novel show, so if you've seen any of the plethora of other shows in the same vein, you've seen this show as well. I don't really need to explain it. I guess the difference is that this show could potentially be considered part of the iyashikei sub-genre, given that almost everyone in the show is nice, friendly and has "good morals", there are no stakes and nothing really bad happens to the MC, and if it does (like in one episode), the MC cleans up and sorts it out post-haste. It's a very chill, light-hearted show, despite the fact that it tries to cover some heavier topics later on. Turn your brain off to watch it and you'll still understand what's going on. I suppose one bit of praise I could offer this show is that the MC's companions are fleshed-out, have character arcs and are actually likeable characters, which isn't always a given in a show like this. It reminded me very loosely of Black Summoner in this regard, although I'd still consider that show miles better than this one, especially because the MC in "Material Gatherer" is pretty damn bland and does not go through much development, outside of him understanding the world he's in a bit better after a while (he gains some common sense). Clayston and Brolite have much better arcs and are far more interesting characters compared to the MC in all honesty. As for Bee, well, it's like the author wanted to include Pokemon in there somewhere, but didn't know quite how. It'll be up to each viewer to decide whether they mind hearing "Bee? Bee-Bee! BEEEE.... Bee..." 3000 times across the series. That's about it for this show. As I said, if you've seen any other "adventurer party isekai", you've seen this show, so it'll be up to each individual to decide whether this is too much deja-vu, or if it's a "I'll watch it to chill out" scenario. 6/10 (Fine) and Mixed Feelings. Definitely won't be for everyone and definitely not a standout of this season.
