The Freezing Specials :). The six, three minute, specials for the popular anime Freezing were merely made for the enjoyment of ecchi and seemingly hentai lover :S. I am not sure why they chose to make the specials so ecchi heavy but if you are very fond of the female characters then i recommend it to you. The specials reveal a much...hornier side of the female chareacters. The ecchi also gives way too hilarious moments. I got a good laugh out of all of the episode

This was a nice, fun way to finish off after watching Freezing. Since Freezing was quite intense and emotional, it was nice to watch this and have a light-hearted conclusion. It doesn't contain much plot as the episodes are only about less then 3 minutes in duration, and it might be considered as a bit lewd and just for fan-service, but I honestly believe it was a great way to settle the plot down before entering into the next season. Not for everyone, but I at least got some solace from it.

Going into these specials after watching the main story I was thrown rather off guard. These specials do not have a story they appear to be a compilation of ideas that the creators threw in to interest viewers, they interest the viewers by providing much more borderline hentai content in as well as making the specials be full of humour. I find that the characters did not act entirely the same as how they did in the main story I feel because of this the characters shown felt like different characters all together, despite this the art design and sound was as good as in theactual series and overall they were rather fun to watch at the end of the main series as something to lighten the mood. I do recommend watching these after the main series as to not give false impressions on the characters and to also entertain yourself.

It's my typical "self-imposed rule" to avoid spin-offs, extras, and specials like the plagues they are; since the Wapanese animu industry's only goal with their works is to impose their bias and ignorant, pro-otaku, anti-casual ideas. I saw images of poor Kazuya beaten up nearly avoided this as well. And, as always, the "Let's Keep Everybody Virgins Forever (Just Like Us Slobbering Otaku)" didn't help matters much for me either. But it's not too bad. The specials managed to introduce some punchline that atleast TRIES to be funny. Let us all not forget that the main show basically featured women nearly killing each other in cold bloodto get their points across. AND they're doing it in order to prepare for fights against aliens which are even deadlier. So yeah. I have to admit that the one episode where said alien was wearing a bathing suit and having "I Love The Ocean" scribbled on [her] belly was a HOOT. (Don't take my word for it, though. You have to see and experience it to let the full effects of the joke get to you.)

Six short fanservice specials about the female Freezing characters. In each episode, they find another scenario and reasoning to show the characters nude. I never saw Freezing completely. I dropped it early on, since i was sure, it wouldn't be for me. So i have no idea, how the characters really are, aside these specials. I liked some of the Freezing specials, however most of them (4 out of 6 for me) were pretty unoriginal and boring. The comedy in this is quite average aswell. Sometimes it's actually funny, sometimes just plain boring and stupid. So if you want to watch these specials for comedy, then betternot do it. It's a waste of time. I can only "recommend" this to fans of the series and who want to see their female characters nude and in embarassing situations. Or for people, like me, who just want to see that, regardless of whether they saw the series or not, combined with a good art style.
