In the belief that any review, no matter how basic, is better than none at all, I will now direct the reader to my review of the Starzinger TV series. It is also very basic, but I don't see a better one on this site for Starzinger. The film, if it is to be called that at a length of 22 minutes, is simply the same as an episode of the series, just with better animation and the Toei waves at the beginning. So dramatic pacifism with space monsters. This time the monsters are something like dragons, and our warrior cyborgs are met with oppositionfrom the people who are on a crusade to kill every last one of these monsters themselves as retribution for their fallen comrades. So again we have the moral quandary and the escalating tragedy that is not really seen in western kids shows.
