Kiki to Lala no Ohimesama ni Naritai

The OVA is only a half-hour long and very childish. This is to be expected considering that it's made by Sanrio. The art was pretty good, though because of how old the OVA is i couldn't find an hd version. This also meant that the audio quality wasn't the greatest. These issues will not impact my rating in any way. I just felt that those who wish to watch this should be made aware of the bad quality. The Character design was great, many of them had a childlike appearance and personality. Most character's color pallets were compromised of light, vibrant colors. The plot is just thatKiki tricks Lala into believing that he got her a wishing star. He proceeds to trade Lala the fake wishing star for candy that she received earlier in the OVA. Lala finds out about the lie and yells at Kiki while stating that they are no longer friends. Kiki then goes out to find a wishing star, and this is where the main conflict begins. The area where he looks for a wishing star is very dangerous. I will not go deeper into the plot because that may be considered a spoiler to some. I recommend this if your looking for a fun, light hearted, and quick anime to watch. Or if you want to teach your kids a lesson on selflessness & how rewarding it can be.
