Junjou Shoujo Et Cetera (Pure-hearted Girl Et Cetera) is a two-part OVA series by Studio 1st. It's a fairly standard vanilla hentai, so I don't have a whole lot to say about it. I generally found it to be enjoyable, but it also doesn't do a whole lot to stand out. So, what's the story of this hentai? Well, this series consists of two episodes, each telling a different story with different characters. The first episode follows a girl who transfers to a new school. While there, she meets a guy that has a crush on her, and they start dating.There's a bit of drama towards the end (revolving around a misunderstanding), but that's about it. The first episode definitely has a very simplistic story, but I think it's still the better of the two episodes for other reasons. The second episode is much more unique. The story revolves around a different girl who's partaking in online masturbation sessions. She has a vibrator and some kind of headset that connects to another pair owned by someone else. They use these to roleplay having sex. Sorry if this explanation doesn't make any sense, you sort of have to see it to understand it. I haven't seen this plot done before, so props for originality I guess. However, I do have a few issues with this story. Firstly, this is pretty much the entire episode, the girl masturbates and pretends to have sex with someone. Not very exciting. Secondly, I feel the whole "virtual" aspect cheapens the scenes. The girl isn't really getting it on with someone, she's just shoving plastic up her coochie. Moving on from the story; how's the art/animation? It's decent. I've seen much better, but I've also seen much worse. The characters are decently designed, I particularly like the girl from the first episode. They also have a unique art style in the second episode for the "fantasy" scenes. The animation is a little slow, but the art helps compensate for it somewhat. I think the first episode has better direction, since the sex scenes are more creative (the one on the roof being the best imo). On the downside, I found the censorship rather extreme and sloppy. Distance shots suffer in particular, since everything turns into a mass of pixals. The voice actors also had a decent performance, although I think they could've been a little more emotive. I enjoyed Junjou Shoujo Et Cetera overall, but it wasn't spectacular. Neither episode is bad, the first one is definitely good, while the second one is more mediocre. There're some decent aspects, but there isn't really anything that stands out either. This is a perfectly average hentai, in every regard. 6/10 So, would I reccomend you watch this OVA series? Yeah, specifically the first episode. But if you decide to watch both, don't expect anything amazing.
