The first 45 minutes is a recap of the original series and the remaining 40 minutes has a new story. Two months after Creamy Mami's final concert, rumors began to spread that Mami was making a come back, and if that wasn't surprising enough, Tachibana starts a "Project M" and that seems to have something to do with Mami's come back. The show got taken off of Amazon Prime, so I decided to check out the sequel movie. The first half is a recap of the most important Plot episodes of the show. So, like, four of them because that show was not about continuity at all, lol. I appreciated that, but I can see why someone would want to skip it. The movie proper is about rumors that Creamy Mami is going to reappear one month after the end of the series, and Yuu knows nothing about it. Commence a bunch of walking around and chatting, much like the show. It's better than it sounds. Quitecomfy, actually. And there are a few scenes where the animators obviously just started flexing for no fucking reason, like that raw-as-fuck car chase in the middle. Oh my God, the picture of Yuu and Shingo after a timeskip is so cute!! Stay tuned after the credits!
