Avengers! Gotta catch 'em all! Simply put: Marvel meets Pokemon. Target group: Don't expect too much from this Anime. He is really intended for a younger audience. A group of children controlling the mighty Marvel Heroes are included at any price in the Anime to pander to the target audience. Example: Base is raided by villains for some revolutionary technology and the scientist has Spider-Man and his hyperactive son in front of him. Of course he confide this technology to his son and not to the mighty trustworthy superhero because kids with no powers are the most effective against super-villains. Story: Well it is an Animewhere persons with super-powers get captured like Pokemon and can only fight when they are summoned by the momentary "owner" of the disk in which they are contained. Of course this is only possible under certain conditions and with some limitations making the heroes way inferior than they were before... Due to certain circumstances the group of kids along with the "caught" Avengers have to collect the lost disks containing heroes and villains before Loki can get his hands on them. Many fights between heroes and villains. This doesn't get boring since this show has access to a LOT of the Marvel franchises. Art: Good art and well animated fighting scenes don't leave much to complain. Only the intense colouring is somehow a little disturbing. I liked the designs of the main heroes. Only some villains looked stupid but their originals in American comics don't look any better. Sound: Nice effect sounds and well placed music. Nearly all voices are pleasant to hear. Characters: A wide choice of well known (or less) Marvel characters leaves nothing to desire on this side. Tony Stark gets of course the star position putting the rest of the avengers a bit in the background. No real problem since I love that character and never get fed up his humour. Well beside the Marvel characters we have two Japanese brothers as main characters. One very lively and one more calm. To complete the team of kids controlling the "mighty heroes in a disk" we have the whiny anxious boy who needs to overcome his fears, the kid with no idea what to do with his life and the rich girl looking for entertainment. To be honest I don't care the least about them and the Anime would work fine without them by having some other hero collect the disks instead of some kids. At least the kids have some common sense, listen to their adult partners and are not annoying like typical characters in other series oriented to a younger audience. Enjoyment: If you keep in mind that it's an Anime oriented to a younger audience it's all right. Decent fights, Lokis evil plan, large cast of Marvel heroes and the jokes from Iron Man will keep you entertained every episode. It's worth watching.

Well.... it acctually got me impressed, it is like doing a Namco X Capcom anime. Why? some may ask. Quite simple, this history has its originarity (although the Digimon feeling, look at Jessica, SHE IS A CHARACTER FROM DIGIMON artwork), yeah, it has it originarity, the thing is that: Some teams in original's Marvel SPOILERS 1: some teams never meet each other, like Guardians of Galaxy never crossed paths with the Avengers (not from what I read), they never came across Doormamu (didn't read this one too). Spoilers 2: They even made a Symbiote original's arc (this arc felt like Evil Ryu in Namco X Capcom,,who played it may understand what I'm saying). They even put DeadPool to work!!!! Spoilers END. OF COURSE IT IS DIFFERENT FROM THE ORIGINAL MARVEL STORY. But whatever, it is not Saint Seiya Omega at least (Naruto is Naruto, Mecha is Mecha, Power Ranger is Power Ranger, but SSO IS NOT SAINT SEIYA!) It is supposed to be a kid show, but it is good the way it is (fun to watch), this is mah opinion, mah, warui if I had bad manners here. Story: 09/10. Like I said, it has it own originality, even copying Digimon and stuff. Art: 07/10. It has some fails in the art, soooo, good although. Sound: 10/10. Nothing to complain here. Character: 07/10. Hulk's behavior is a bit different here, and the children are... well, their evolution in the story isn't that to be expected in an anime. Enjoyment: 08/10. The last episodes (after RedSkull's arc) are better. Overall: 08/10. Not that bad like the fans say, I am a fan that likes anything related to what I find fun, be a HQ, Manga, Anime, Game, whatever, if I like the brand, I will enjoy it, but SSO... I don't know how people can like that.
