Sergeant Keroro and his four subordinates came from the planet Keron to the Earth to conquer. However, without notice, they began to enjoy the life on the Earth. Keroro was supposed to stay with Hitana to get the chance to conquer the Earth, but he became friend with Hinata's son, Fuyuki. Today, as usual, Keroro goes to buy his favorite Gundam plastic model with Fuyuki. On their way home, they find a small shrine, and enter. There, they find a vase, and happens to break it. Since the next day, strange things happen all over the town and people are in panic. Inside the vase, Kiruru, Keron's ancient ultimate weapon was sealed. "To invade, or not to invade?" Grand questions have been made in the course of this wonderful franchise. If you are a fan of, or at least like original series, then you'll definitely love this. I found it surprising that a comedy series such as Keroro Gunsou, managed to put out such a well made movie, with it's weird but strangely well put together mix of fantasy, sci-fi and slice of life genre - the story just drags you in easily. The simple material of the show was turned into a hilarious adventure, with your usual characters getting a bit more spotlight to shine in waysyou haven't seen before. While it is generally focusing on comedy and sci-fi elements, there is drama, there is a crush, there is a friendship, and of course, there is a battle - and this movie managed to fit all of these elements into one hour perfectly. Many fluffs and feels wrapped in a comedy burrito. No complaints have been had. Perfect movie length.
