Perverse Investigations
性裁
A horrible murder has been committed on the grounds of Nankai Academy. Professor Yuko, one of the school's most popular teachers, died when she was pushed off of the roof of one of the school's buildings. Her death has left her students with feelings of confusion, pain, and above all else... anger. Four of her male students, Masayoshi, Daisuke, Mitsuru and Shinya, are determined to uncover the truth. They soon discover an important clue: Professor Yuko's planner had been marked on the very night she was killed... marked with the names of seven girls. With this evidence, the boys begin their investigations... and they'll use any method required in order to find the murderer. Through rape, manipulation and torture, they uncover important details, but piecing the puzzle together won't be easy. And the longer their search draws on, the more they feel themselves being overtaken by their own dark desires... Will they ever find out the truth behind Yuko's death? (Source: ANN)

Esta review también está en español. A few months ago, while digging in the depths of this page database, I found Seisai. This title attracted me for two reasons: first, the cover image have nice looking girls/art, even if it showed handcuffs, captivity and apparent violence (all of those are big NO when I'm choosing porn). Second, and the decisive fact (the one that overcame all the bad things in the previous sentence), was the synopsis: the story looked interesting! Hell, there was a story to begin with! So, ignoring my softcore nature, I watched this with high expectations... The story: Nankai Highschool's shocked, because professor Yukowas pushed from the third floor of the school building, dying horribly. Four male students are especially sad, since Yuko-sensei helped them when they used to be filthy losers. And they made an oath: they'll find the culprits.... and they will make them pay. With a little research and espionage, they learn that, in the day she died, Yuko had several meetings scheduled, so they conclude that one of those persons has the answer they want. And, surprise surprise, all the named persons are school girls. The murderer has to be one of them. With that idea, the hunt begins. Sounds kind of interesting, isn't it? The first episode is basically the previous paragraph, plus, of course, various sex scenes here and there. Good start. But, everything goes to hell. MAL try to justify what happens with the "dementia" tag, but no one is retarded enough to fall for that. The second episode, and the plot resolution, is, literally, a (critical) hit in the nads... almost an insult to the intelligence of anyone. It's almost like they didn't care... I mean, Seisai's a game adaptation, so there must be other routes or endings... But, I think my rant about something stupid like the plot should end, and talk about the rest... The animation is flawless. Everything looks and moves excellently (except for a few frames here and there, but not a big deal). The character design is very good, with a nice looking female cast. By the way, there are six, each of them with classic anime/hentai traits: Sae and Hikaru are in the swim team, Kyouka is rich and popular, Sakura and Nozomi are in the student council, and Nami is the school's slut n_n. All of them will be fucked/raped in all the possible forms and angles, either by the protagonist (everything in the name of justice) or faceless men (damn you, generic faceless men! xD). There's just no escape for the girls... except for Nami: she enjoy it too much to be considered rape (really). And of course, since this is from 2003, no censorship here. That's always a bonus. So, if I was not clear, this title has rape. Everywhere. Is almost the leit motiv of this whole thing. And some BDSM, too. Please, have that in mind if you are thinking in watching this. To round things up, the thing I try to find in Seisai not only wasn't there, but, in plot terms, was the worse crap I ever watched. This was a bet that ended terribly wrong for me (specially, since, well, I'm a softcore person)... Yet, everything in Seisai is good in porn terms: it has good animated and fluid sex. So if justice through rape doesn't bother you, Seisai may result appealing. But don't let that damn synopsis fool you! Suena interesante, no?

A horrible murder has been committed on the grounds of Nankai Academy when Professor Yuko, one of the school's most popular teachers, died when she was pushed off of the roof of one of the school's buildings. Four of her male students are determined to uncover the truth. They soon discover an important clue: Professor Yuko's planner had been marked on the very night she was killed, marked with the names of seven girls. With this evidence, the boys begin their investigations, and they'll use any method required in order to find the murderer. I guess the sex scenes are not the worst that I've seen, but I've also seen much better. I can actually imagine someone getting something from this, but it would be very few people. Of course, the English dub is the standard bad dub for a hentai, with the actors just reading the dialogue off the page with little to no inflection. There's even unnecessary and forced swearing. One of the characters went from mild anger to sheer boredom right after being hit in the face. I would assume that it was supposed to be the other way around judging from the situation. Probably the best lines are "Shut up, I never fucked a virgin, so I'm having a moment.", immediately followed up with "Take a good look, there's a cock in your pussy." The animation ranges from competent to not quite knowing how the human body works, with one character moving around in the most awkward way possible. The plot is weirdly difficult to follow. I don't know how a plot this simple is this poorly told. Especially in a hentai where a plot would just be there to set up the sex scenes. It just goes from one scene to another without any transition, causing confusion. From what I can gather, a bunch of the guys who helped with investigating the murder of their teacher tried raping and blackmailing their way to finding out who the murderer is. Sure it's perverse, but why are the good guys doing the raping? But I guess it turns out the good guys were the bad guys all along. And there was maybe revenge and the whole thing was faked to some extent? I seriously had no idea what the fuck what was going on in the plot because it was so poorly told. How does a hentai have this poor of a story? Probably the funniest thing about this is just how serious it takes itself. Between just how bland the plot is and the awful dub with the excessive swearing, it just comes across as trying way too hard. Is Perverse Investigations (AKA Sex Judge) worth watching? With the amount of better hentai out there, I'm going to have to go with a no on this one.
