Rate a 4 art film (no subtitles or vocals) Story With no form of words there is no clear path to what the audience should take. Which leaves it entirely to personal take. My take was this was nothing more than a sync of a classic classical song used in synchronized diving but with cells of the human body for characters. Art/sound -black and white mostly. Color is used more in terms of the ending as a mean of conclusion/celebration. -The concept idea of drawn cells vs human form was a poor choice. Classical music is meant to be relaxing. The drawings were in some cases a little bit horrific tolook at. Being slightly scared i could not relax. In which all was for nothing. -On a positive note the art blended well with the sounds tempo. -when the art became more face paced the art images began to blur in appearance. Overall: don't expect a story. See what you want to see.

POTENTIAL SEIZURE WARNING! Effectively, this short music video was meant to be a debut work for the given artist, but if this is anything to go by-- The idea for the abstract is interesting, with cells artificially rendered. However, for all the beauty, there's no getting around the fact that there was far more focus on the art of the animation piece than on what the piece would do to the viewer upon seeing and hearing the piece. The music is jarring techno, and the art, while beautiful, moves at such a rapid pace that it's hard to keep up with what is going on. That might bethe Avant Garde point because the artist did this to mimic the human cells in the body. However, there are actual reasons why certain things are considered conventional in Animation and why certain rules of the trade shouldn't be broken. In this case, tricks of the trade that are meant to prevent your audience from become ill because of the visuals are there for a reason.
