The first thing you need to know, a lot of filler episodes. I could see a lot of people dropping the anime after about 10 episodes, but the story offers something very new and refreshing which is odd given the year it was made. I honestly saw myself dropping the series maybe midway through, but you have to stay into it! The art is okay, the anime was made at the turn of the millenium give it a break. People that are very particullar about artwork might want to stay away from this anime. Moving on to the sound, the opening/closing themes are both repetitiveand aren't anything to write home about. I couldn't tell you the difference between sounds of arms and regular guns, and the voice acting is pretty close to horrible. Still yet, I can't give it lower than a 6 because of the sound effects. The sound effects made my day! The characters aren't anything special. They serve their purposes and don't really develop until later on in the story. But as the story and fillers progress, you start to find affection, humor, and curiosity for all of the characters. Basically, here is what it comes down to. -You HAVE to wait for the story to develop, slow down and enjoy it. -This is an anime for people willing to look past the art, and more into the meaning and depth of the story. -Skip the ending song. In conclusion, I find the anime to be amazing in terms of story, but the amount of fillers really made the score suffer for me. You should be able to find it for cheap anywhere, and I truly recommend picking it up if you can. Give it a chance! Thanks for reading!

Wild Arms: Twilight Venom. This anime series is based on a popular RPG series of games. No, I didn't play any Wild Arm Games. The atmosphere of the series is kind of wild wild west which is probably what it got its name from. Alliances change in this series and you wonder who can be trusted and the mystery of twilight venom. The story was decent, but it didn't tie up loose ends real well. The story was kind of wild west meets fantasy. It was a good blend of action and romance with interesting characters. The opening songwas very good, but I skipped the closing song as it was annoying to me. It's because the opening song was wild west esque and the closing was futuristic, which clashed with the amazing opening in my opinion. Those 'r' big guns. It's worth a watch and there is some closure. Just don't expect a deep storyline or very good art for that matter. It's an anime that some people will enjoy more than others, for me it was just okay or average.

Love the games. Played first 2 and about to start the third why i watched this. Now even as someone keeping my expectations in check this wasnt very good. Before anything else that ending song is pure garbage. Its like drilling through my ears listening to that. Cant even call that music. The show itself. I mean it seemed to have something interesting going when it focused on its story but for like 16/22 episodes its mostly just adventure nonsense with paper thin characters. Boring animation. Lacklustre music. Bad dialogue. I mean they have so much materi as l to go on and somehow endedup with some boring treasure hunt. The 5/10 feels generous. Had it not been Wild arms but an original anime id go lower. So yeah only really watch this if you likf the games. And even then its not recommended unless you just want some timewaster or just a big fan checking it out.
