This is a very refreshing episode which is originally episode 14 of "Kobayashi-san Chi no Maid Dragon"! BTW, this episode doesn't contain any vital events connected to the main plot; you can skip it if you wish. This episode goes through two popular events, Valentine's day and a Hot spring hang out. The art, animation, characters, and sounds are all on the same level as the main series. Which is perfect! Personally, I enjoyed it very much as it gives the same vibe as the main series which I obviously liked very much. If you liked the Main Series of "Kobayashi-san Chi no Maid Dragon" you shoulddefinitely give this a shot. Enjoy 💖

I feel like this OVA should have definitely been in the original run for Miss Kobayashi's dragon maid! Though given the finale takes place around January (i think? It has been a while) I'm sure it would have thrown off the vibes the original finale had. However, this was a really cute OVA! It was sweet to see Tohru and Kobayashi's relationship on Valentines day along with the usual comedy the series has. Though i did notice the fanservice was turned up pretty high this time around but the usually tends to happen with slice of life comedies with a bunch of girls that goto a beach or hot spring. There isn't really too much to say but if you loved the first series then this OVA was great!

Anyone that has watched more than a few OVA knows for a fact that OVA are there just to show skin and usually feature Onsens just for that purpose with little to no story and no care for character evolution. Here we have a very nice OVA that is fun to watch. It keeps the spirit of the main anime and manages to keep it's level and cleverness and still make you feel feels. I am pretty sure it could even be watched as the final episode of a 14 episode anime instead of watching it as the OVA after a 13 episode anime. It's thatgood compared to the overall show! I must really commend the staff for that little gem of an OVA! If you liked Kobayashi-san Chi no Maid Dragon you need to watch this OVA.

this review will probably be short but otherwise lets get into it Story: so the story pretty much is the first half is a valentines episode where kobayashi among others in the anime are getting chocolates and basically stuff like that. the second half of the anime is basically everyone goes to a hot spring and honestly that's about it. Art: The art is really well done like the anime nothing bad about it here. Sound: the OP and ED return for the OVA which i both like but i liked the OP more than the ED also i assuming all the Japanese VA's get the roles causei watched the dub not the sub. Character: Kobayashi is basically a dull and gloomy person but after tooru comes along she is cheerful and happy cause she never really had that many friends growing up and such. Tooru is basically in love with Kobayashi cause that is really easy too see also that also that tooru is cheerful and is pretty much the sweetest one. Kanna is the loli dragon and well honestly the cutest thing (honestly i couldn't write that without laughing) but she is cute nice and overall the nicest thing. Quetzalcoatl honestly never really cared for her honestly she was here just for tits and for the gag of tits and honestly that's really it honestly sure shes cheerful and shit but the tits overlay anything about her. (pretty much copied this from my review sense they all act the same). Enjoyment: Things that i liked: the OVA is pretty funny just enjoyable of a watch also the fact all the characters are here as well is good. Things that i didn't like: i mean nothing really maybe Quetzalcoatl cause of the fact i pretty much didn't like her in the anime (read the character part about her that's how i feel about her. Overall: im giving this a 8 the OVA is funny and a enjoyable watch also that all characters are here as well a OVA worth the watch if you wanna kill some time.

This OVA had great potential to be extremely cute and wholesome, however the team decided to sour the episode with very questionable fanservice. The anime itself has occasional questionable fanservice, the main target being the preschooler Kanna, but this OVA had more than one uncomfortable fanservice scene. Kobayashi herself, Kanna and Shouta fall into the main anime's more problematic fanservice/shipping themes without the wholesome story to overpower them. The first half of the OVA is about chocolate gifting. The implications of Kobayashi's actions on Kanna, and later her actions to Tohru, definitely ruined the entire OVA for me personally. The animation and music are wonderful. It's a shamethe story didn't utilize its characters, or the fanservice, in a more appropriate way. With its cast of attractive adult women, with strong platonic and romantic connections established in the main series, there is no excuse for Tohru's 'gift' or the joking(?) implications after Kobayashi eats it.
