スタンドマイヒーローズ PIECE OF TRUTH
Drugs have become the center of conflict in Japan, and crime involving them has been increasing at an alarming rate. Unable to control the chaos, the police department settled on creating a unit—STAND—that would include unique, specialized experts and professionals better suited to handle the pressing issue. Rei Izumi is a novice joining the narcotics investigation unit, assigned the daunting task of recruiting the potential representatives of STAND. While recommended for her moral sense of justice and devotion to police work, Rei also has a unique aspect of her own that may have earned her the job—she has an immunity to many, if not most, kinds of drugs. Eager to seek the possible members of STAND, Rei quickly learns that scouting the different individuals will be more difficult than she expected, as each candidate harbors their own feelings, ideologies, and willingness toward joining the team and regulating drugs as a whole. Her capability as a narcotics officer is also questioned by the many colorful personalities she meets, stirring conflict and unpredictability in Rei's daily life. However, persuading the various contenders for STAND isn't the only obstacle she faces, as becoming involved in the treacherous underworld of drugs, overflowing with deceit and secrecy, will be more hazardous than she ever imagined. Absolute garbage, I'm an avid reverse harem watcher, I'd honestly dare to say I've watched every reverse harem post it's initial popularity in the 1990's. I can stretch myself out to even slightly enjoy the trash that roams our streets at night, name to say Diabolik Lovers or Dance with Devils. Or even Jyuuza Engi, hypothetically I'd stretch into a yoyo. Anyway, even saying that: I wouldn't reccomend this garbage 'Stand My Heroes' to anyone. While I was in Japan I was watching it on the telly as a meme, and would occasionally browse it's merch while I was at anime stores, but by God, by thetime the season finale came out I wanted to march down into hell, grab Satan by the neck and beg him the answers as to why this blander-than-your-mother's-sunday-toast anime was created. Heroine, bland. Immune to drugs? So what. It's never brought up in the anime after it's initial mention. Men? Blander than the baby powder I had to haul over to my family in China after the asbestos poisoning of '07. Each character just looks like the same default Sim repainted over and over again with a clown's tampon. Honestly it feels like they tried to do something different with the entire NCIS/SVU theme as well as RV, but honestly none of those themes worked as they couldn't stick to one or the other, or couldn't commit. So TLDR, I can't believe I wasted six hours of my life watching this lifeless (as well as convoluted and boring) anime that has no place in both the crime and romance genres. Adieu,

This is the umpteenth reverse harem show I've watched, and despite being a male, this DOES NOTHING to break my previous attempts at deriding such shows like this to say that despite the story and narratives, the characters, essentially one woman a.k.a. the catalyst and the many similar-looking men all wanting some "thirst" out of her skills and abilities. Why can't this reverse harem (NOT the Josei) genre just fade into oblivion? In order for reverse harems to work out the way it is, the central girl MC is in question. Unfortunately, this whole anime coming from a game adaptation, works and plays TOO similarly likea game, where you the (female) player protagonist, hired at some company just because you're an expert in that field, and must ABSOLUTELY ask some Ikemen around to get to your goal. The end result is like watching a "Let's Play" game unfold, only that this is nothing interesting at all. And that's who the female MC Rei Izumi is: the "perfect drug-alleviating candidate" to scout for Ikemen, just because drugs won't work on her (and dismisses that entirely after the VERY first episode) and that she is the ONLY one suitable for the job. Boring story plot and even lesser with little to no character development. Not to mention that getting the "Prince of Tennis" studio M.S.C does not break the bank as well. Terrible backgrounds and bland character design, just could not emphasize this point very directly, because it's just that. The fact that I remember Code:Realize by the same studio made in 2017 with the exact same source adaptation that at least had decent execution speaks volumes about its reach towards the general audience with a better setting and (at least) good character development. Song choices with the OST are the only ones I can compliment about this anime, and that's the best part about it alone. All in all, a show that isn't worth watching, even for the most niche of audiences (Josei).

I'm going to be honest, I rarely write reviews, so bear with me here. Reading the synopsis, I had very high hopes for this anime, despite the mediocre score. The anime let me down in basically every way possible though. The only reason I finished the anime in the first place is that I don't like to drop anime, in hopes that they will get better; this one doesn't. The story is very boring, each episode makes you believe that something will come from it, but you barely learn anything. The characters just repeat what they already know over and over again and add just alittle information at the end, leading to a very slow very boring anime. I fell asleep several times watching it, and when I woke up, basically nothing had changed. There are entirely too many characters in general, and basically all of them all male except for the mc. I get that it's a reverse harem, but the mc and a comatose girl and a woman that is revealed way later are the only ones ever given names that I remember. All of the characters blend together and half the time I had no idea which one they were talking about. One of the reasons why I watched this is because of the romance tag, which is also a dead end. The only romance to speak of that is actually in the anime rather than the subtext is a small arc which after it's finished, is only touched on a couple more times before never being spoken of or shown again. The mc is probably the worst character I've ever seen. Despite being in law enforcement, she has no idea how to defend herself, or listen to orders, thus she is always running into things she can't handle and needing everyone else to help her out with the simplest things. The climax makes almost no sense with basically no foreshadowing to think off, and all the reasoning for it is explained in that very episode, making it very rushed and confusing. The ending leaves many loose ends and hints to a second season, which I will most definitely not be watching. All in all, if you see these reviews, despite how cool the plot sounds, it is a total let down and not worth your time. Please pay attention to the reviews and the ratings. The only things I liked about this anime were the art and the opening and ending tracks, and those things are really not enough to make up for my wasted time on this anime.

To be honest, when I saw that this anime had romance I was expecting to see some cute scenes. BUT I DIDN'T ! Overall, the story was plain and the characters were so monotone that I was starting to get bored but I still carried on because of the cliffhangers that made me continue to watch it. I didn't enjoy this because of the lack of romance and character's emotions building up during the story and as a person I didn't feel any connection or attachment. Characters were very basic and I feel like their relationship towards each other were not the type that would makean anime fan ship them (or probs just me) The sound: the intro music was entertaining I already know the words to it because it is catchy and it matches to the connotations of the anime.

Very interesting anime! But I think we deserve some a llittle cute scenes OwO! The story is definetly unique andits cool! The art style is very pretty as well! All of the characters personalities are so different that its interesting! I think some people will enjoy this like me and I think there are some other people who will not like it.
