Sing For You, as the title implies, is an OVA that heavily incorporates the character songs associated with the series. The story is mostly based on one of the manga chapters published a few years ago, so it really cant be considered an ORIGINAL video animation (OVA). I've seen plenty memes on popular forums and boards jokingly stating how GochiUsa is too "high IQ" for the average viewer, but they're actually unironically correct. GochiUsa is different from other anime of the CGDCT sub-genre because there's a subtle undercurrent of sadness running through many of the episodes and it's even more apparent in the manga. Sing ForYou is about Chino moving a step closer to coming to terms with her mother's death. To better understand this, it should be known from watching earlier episodes that Chino's mom used to be an avid singer with a lot of passion. Chino doesn't mention her mother often because it brings up painful memories, but after being convinced by her friends to sing a solo for her class, it helped her progress past her painful emotions. At the end of the OVA, Chino reminisces to a time when she was playing in the park with her mother and father. Her eyes flicker for a brief moment but it goes away and she simply smiles and says "mom, i'm spending time with my wonderful friends". It's actually quite sad, charming, and emotional at the same time. In the end credits you see Chino singing while clutching a photo album with pictures of her mother. GochiUsa manages to portray such feelings that CGDCT titles rarely can and this is such a fabulous adaptation which perfectly captures Koi's incredible vision. To see how the above mentioned themes have completely flown over many viewers heads is unfortunate. GochiUsa truly is high IQ.

Is the Order a Rabbit is back and as wholesome and lovable as ever! This OVA focuses on Chino and her role of doing a solo song and Oh my god is it done beautifully. Its so wholesome to the point of bring tears and the entire cast of lovable waifus are back. We get to see the absolutely beautiful sister relationship with Cocoa and Chino again which I oh so missed. Every interaction between these two is adorable and makes me want more. The rest of the cast are the same as ever and its just as great as before. We are really being spoiled with thisOVA and getting so many songs in just one episode. All of the songs are cute, catchy, and wholesome as hell. I genuinely felt so happy listening to the ending song in particular which just spilled wholesome and happy feelings that brought me to tears. Every main character gets to sing at least once and it was great to see Chino and Cocoa sing. Im definitely downloading all the songs once they get released. I sooo cant wait for season 3 and get to see more of this absolutely amazing series. I highly recommend watching this OVA as its just as great as the anime that came before it. 10/10 its wholesomeness brought me to tears.

"Gochuumon wa Usagi Desu ka?". One of my another series that I found so soothing and don't really understand after watching many same genre and approach the other series given and never fail to heals my heart. Another title, another time to be given to watch it and appreciate all the element in it, even I don't understand why i gave another 10 in a little ova like this, it's still not in my knowledge how something could be this beautiful. **This review has some spoiler in it and hope you proceed with care knowing this.** Gochuumon wa Usagi Desu ka??: Sing for You is anothermasterpiece that takes place after the second season of the series and within the movie. The story itself revolve in your any normal slice of life type of anime that give any lesson in every episodes and so on. This ova, tells us how Chino got herself a position in singing solo in recital at her school. When she has some worry, her closed one are cheering her with everything they got and with many of their character. We got to know a little about her mother and little did she know that she is following her mother steps toward adolescence. The story itself are a little bit too weak compared to any other episodes where they just having the best of their life and living it to the fullest. I say this because I think that this episode approach are mentioning about her mother that has long gone and the spice in it are the comedy and another slice of life. The sound in the anime is superb. Comparing to the episodes before this, they make this episode feel so special with including Chino's mother and the voice of her when she was a child. The sound resonates through my feel and having this actually made me remember my closed one. The song and the lyric itself is strongly emotional. Not to mention the art is still the same with some "changes" that makes it better in a good way. Not that the oldest one is bad, but this is better. This concludes my review about this title, hope you guys enjoyed the series as much as I do, Cheers. *Edit: This review is biased. I was down to the hell's pit at the time I watch the first season, and after that all of this series has been my savior until this date. Sorry for putting my uncommon opinion.

I suppose I don't have anyone else to blame apart from myself to expect this to be anything more than an average Gochiusa episode. From the PVs, the premise and all, I was expecting a more intimate, a more heartfelt story with Chino and her mother. This is after all, after several years of buildup and we've known so little of this figure beyond her name which was only revealed via an April Fool's gag on the official website earlier this year. To have so little of the episode dedicated to the mother-daughter relationship or even the ultimate fate of Chino's mother is a tadbit disappointing. Still, for better for worse, it's a Gochiusa episode with your standard trappings and structures and plots. Not even one of the better episodes, just around par with Dear My Sister. This is especially true with regards to the animation quality which is a cut rougher than the first two seasons and even Dear My Sister at times. More Gochiusa is always fine, and this is far from a betrayal of the entire series, but one wishes more could have been done than what we have gotten in a 25 minute OVA where ultimately not much happens. Once the end credits start rolling and Gin no Spoon ~Blend of Memory~ starts playing, I was moved if only for a bit. It's a beautiful song that serves as a bridge between a mother and her daughter from past to present that is heartwarming and a tad melancholic. And a sad reminder of what could have been. Also it's slightly disappointing there was an enka song and Nana wasn't the one singing it. It wouldn't have made much sense in context, but it would have been nice to see. Oh well. 5/10
