アクダマドライブ
The bustling metropolis of Kansai, where cybernetic screens litter the neon landscape, may seem like a technological utopia at first glance. But in the dark alleys around the brightly-lit buildings, an unforgiving criminal underbelly still exists in the form of fugitives known as "Akudama." No stranger to these individuals, Kansai police begin the countdown to the public execution of an infamous Akudama "Cutthroat," guilty of killing 999 people. However, a mysterious message is sent to several elite Akudama, enlisting them to free Cutthroat for a substantial amount of money. An invisible hand seeks to gather these dangerous personas in one place, ensuring that the execution is well underway to becoming a full-blown bloodbath. [Written by MAL Rewrite]

damn was this anime insane ride from the first 5 episodes that were a bit edgy but mostly stupid fun until the show's change in atmosphere in episode 6. this was a very very fun show to watch and with quite the ending as well. I can't wait for the blu ray to come out so I can truly enjoy all of the show gory scenes the way they were meant to. seeing as how the other fall shows haven't ended or had a decent ending. this is so far my anime of the fall and I can easily put it in my top 5 best shows of2020.

Merry Christmas everybody, so another Fall 2020 anime has just ended and now we can clearly say that this is awesome, but , I can't deny that this was jut too complicated as to the role of the character, the setting and the climaxes, so here's the juice of this anime. Story-Fair 6: It wasn't unusual when there is an original anime , where the plot were either rushed or just made to look stupid, but in this original anime that was created by "Daganronpa" creator, Kazutaka Kodaka is a combination of plot holes ,complex sub plot and understandable climaxes. It would have been goodif some of those settings, situation and rational would have been simplified in a sense that there wouldn't be any of those plot holes as to how Kansai and Kanto came to be in that situation. lets not forget that this anime's setting is in some Dystopian future in Japan where a war of some kind happened and it was bomb, why was it been bombed? That 's the plot hole, how did Kanto gain such tech of making an AI where it stores the memories, that's the complexities, Why does such AI need an offering like those two genetically engineered children , how can that Sadistic Doctor able to stich herself and other up without feeling any pain and suffering any infections adds to the complexities. Also, as I've watched this anime, there were some plot element taken from other movies like that of the "Magnificent Seven" cu'z there were 7 of them , "V for Vendetta" cu'z of the chaos that Ordinary person has cause, and "Escape from Los Angeles" given as to how Kanto ended and other stuff that would make me too tired to state everything. Art-Very Good 8: It was just very good that Studio Perrot to choose "Daganronpa " character designer , Komatsuzaki, Rui, to do the characters, and Aoki Kaoru to to the background design....TBH, they really did a little bit of everything where it includes a one time Ordinary person fanservice. Sound-Good 7: The seiyuus who did the characters from the protagonists' up to the antagonists' were right on cue....what I really hate were both the opening and closing theme. Character-Great 9: TBFH, I really hated them characters, in fact I would really wanted them to die, so lets go over each and everyone of them: Ordinary Person aka "Swindler": Either her character is meant to be stupid or meant to be smart, cu'z I really can't fathom that fact that just for a mere 500 yet coin that Courier dropped and doesn't want it back would be the start of her worse nightmare, as she gets in trouble cu'z she doesn't have raw cash to pay for her Takoyaki , when she could've used Courier's unwanted cash to pay for her snack.....worse still, is that instead of using the chaos to escape she stayed behind with the bad 6 and becomes one of the dirty 7 called "Akudama." IMAO, why would she be a swindler when she never conned anybody for money nevertheless she never abandons the offerings and even sacrificed herself in order to given them a head start , in fact she should've have been refer as "The Rebel" or "The Seditionist" cu'z her being a Swindler is not a right noun for her. Courier: Either he's an opportunist or a foolish hero, cu'z while an opportunity has presented itself for him to get a way multiple times he still stays one Ordinary Peron's side even if the pay ain't worth it. Hoodlum: TBFH, he should've have been the "Swindler" , cu'z we always see him praises Brawler and dose little when it comes to any mission at hand , also we see him play 2 sides where as one of his idol dies he moves on to the next and yes it's Doctor. His sexuality is also in question that given that he might have some thing for Bawler and at the same time towards Doctor. Hacker: This guy, comes across as either as a real person or a virtual entity , cu'z how the hell did he died when the AI in question at Kasai he is an avatar, and let's not forget that in the mid of the series he left , so if his avatar dies , then it only means that he has a physical body. and it would have been much better if he showed up again probably on the last 3 episodes and be the additional back up for Courier and Ordinary person, he could have been the one who has turned off the electricity in Kanto , I would have had him be shot by them Executioner's drone and in his final act he put's his smart phone on a position that would've have been for Ordinary Person's last stand and with the back up program he has in his smart phone he hacks the electric grid of Kanto. Brawler: Now here is the right anati-hero protagonist in the right moment and in the right role, cu'z the way he is portrayed was really that of a brawler a guy that doesn't take shit from anybody. Doctor and Cutthroat: IMAO, have 2 of those character were just too redundant , cu'z both were crazy, both were sadist and both were hard to kill....TBH, these 2 would've have been a good match in fact it would've have been better if they both teamed up and them die together. The offerings: Yep 2 kids , the result of selective genetic experiment, they for some reason part of their genetic make-up is the used of hologram and a couple of magic , why would they exchange civilization to escape to a waste lands beyond reason. IMAO, it would've have been better that the area that they escape to would've have some people who reject technology and choose to live a primitive life. Executioners: Welp, they the only politically correct characters in this series, and yes as bad guy they get to kill them Akudamas. Thought, I wish that they have a main villain assign to each Akudama. Question, WTF did I gave this category a 9?????Ans, cu'z of how them Akudama's die, plain and simple. Enjoyment: Great 9: In simple terms, this ain't a chore to watch. Overall: Good 7: It may not be a chore to watch, but with a lot of plot holes, under utilization of one of the characters and mislabeling Ordinary Person as "swindler" and how she got into that shit were just underrated, in fact the only thing that make up for all those plot holes , complex back setting and overrated characters is simply seeing as to how this series ends how them characters die and how those two offerings escape. So, Merry Christmas , everyone!!!!!!

overall score: -mid eight- (8.5) it all started because of a 500 yen, Truly a competitor of bench-kun and truck-kun. This show started in a rather odd plot with a so so concept but quickly grasp viewers attention with its really flashy animation and character. In the beginning the anime didn't really show any extravagant story or any complexity. But the story and character quickly progresses and evolve into a whole new breed. What makes the show stands out from the other is its plot progression and way of serving. even if it's not a masterpiece for you gotta be honest that it's still a really goodshow. totally worth your time if you like action, sci-fi type show.

It's weird, I was planning to drop the series around the middle. Not because it's bad I just wasn't impressed with the writing at the time I recommend not being influenced by the bad reviews too much, this is one of the shows that can really linger and settle deep within you, it could also not but the chance that it does is worth the take. I'm glad I gave it a chance to watch til the end, no matter what flaws I may find it was 100%+ worth it that I went through this journey. With being a story with only one season, itwas fairly well-paced. A satisfying ending. A story can be mediocre but if the ending is brilliant you betcha I'll rate it high. Endings are one of the most important factors in stories for me, you have better make me feel like I watched something that was worth it. But the story wasn't actually mediocre for me, at least not for the second half. I *really* loved the second half. This was a really beautiful anime. All of my top anime can be described as "beautiful" and this amazingly manages to fit that bill. I can see some technical flaws if I thought hard enough. But that does not matter right now for my opinion of the series. In stories, I look to feel an "experience". I want stories that manage to hit certain emotions just right, and this anime is one of them. NOW ONTO THE PART WHERE I WILL WRITE SPOILERS BUT HOPEFULLY IN A WAY TO CONVINCE YOU TO WATCH THIS SHOW. Also I'm writing this at like 4:30am after binging episodes 6-12. I'm both tired and traced with emotional anguish. The first half seemed fun, charming, but a little lackluster in the writing. I planned to drop it so I didn't continue. Got interested since I still viewed the threads of episodes to see opinions of people. Basically if you're familiar with the danganronpa writer you know he likes killing off characters. And in this story, he does it right. So right. I admire whoever can make death seem bitterly beautiful yet heavily tragic at the same time. The second half of this series is what I can really praise. Everything from the sound, the tone, the animation, scene direction, writing, voice acting, really came together in a lot of moments and it really captivated me. I thought the characters were rather one-dimensional at first, but they turned out to have more depth than I thought. One writing technique I've learned of is when the author doesn't fully explain a character's backstory/story in detail but just enough where the viewer can just fill in the blanks with their imagination as they imagine what that person went through. An effective tactic and it works for short stories. The author managed to convey the emotions to me, managed to convey the tone and the story so well to me. The protagonist seems like the usual sympathetic wants-to-be-a-hero-always heroine, hopelessly stubborn. This is nothing new with most protagonists, but you know, due to the author being able to convey her tragic situation I admire her more than think she's annoying. She was a great protagonist from beginning to end, and I liked the development. She managed to keep her ideals, and she did it with pride. It was all tragic and beautiful, bitter hopefulness. I like animes that can conflict my emotions like this. I might be making this anime seem more like a masterpiece than it is, but to me at least, it is one.
