巨人族の花嫁
Kouichi Mizuki ends his high school basketball career on a high note, bringing his team to victory during their final match at nationals. Now free from club activities, he looks forward to spending more time socializing, maybe even finding room for romance. But fate has slightly different plans for him when a magical circle transports Kouichi to Tildant, the land of giants. Upon his arrival, Kouichi comes face-to-face with Caius Lao Bistail, the titan king and the culprit behind his summoning. Caius is overjoyed, claiming Kouichi to be his fated bride and asking him to bear his children! It soon becomes evident to Kouichi that his species, let alone gender, is not a problem as Caius pushes him down onto a lavish bed. Will Kouichi ever find romance in this relationship that is bound to end in tears? [Written by MAL Rewrite]

Sooo can't believe this is going to be my first ever review, and for a show that's not even that great. But let me say, I found it to be absolutely hilarious! I know it's not a comedy at all and it was meant to be taken more seriously, but wow. I could not hold back my bellowing laughs from how fast paced and ridiculous the story and character interactions panned out. If it weren't for me laughing so much every episode, I probably would have given this anime a 3/10 or something. That's all I wanted to say. Thanks for reading XD

just don't watch it its a waste of time, if you really like it read the manga. and leave it at that, i literally cant with this anime short. everything was just done so fast and in such a bland way like the angles and just how every character was placed it felt so rushed and lazy compared to the manga and tbh didnt expect much going into the first ep, tbh i would have just dropped it in the first ep if i didnt read the manga and had expectation, just read the manga , like i mean ( trying to find something nice tosay lol ) nvm, this short was 9 eps to much ngl, we didn't need this anyways just dont waste your time with this

The very first thing I want to bring up, which was my misconception based on the trailer and the poster and the reason I avoided it: no, the titan does not rape the MC. Their relationship is fine, sweet even. The second point, if you are not already a BL fan, don't watch this. Full stop. Not recommended. Avoid. So with this said, my review is aimed squarely only at other BL fans who know exactly what they are getting into. As a BL fan, think of this show as one of those short 2-3 chapter BL yaoi manga that have a setting squarely aimed at havingthe two MCs who embody a kink have sex - this time the kink is "size difference", with some sex pollen also in the mix in the second half and exhibitionism in the first. It's not that the plot of this show is weak - it has more plot and worldbuilding than it has any right to have for the sex vehicle that it is. If anything, the setting is overambitious: this whole anime is less than 2 20-minute episodes (without the ED each episode has about 4 minutes), how much characterization, story, worldbuilding, relationship development can you even squeeze into that airtime?? That said, it's also NOT a good show. The relationship develops far too fast, setting details are never explained (how exactly can a male titan get a male human pregnant?), the airtime is practically nothing yet they still managed to fit sexual assault in (not between the MC and his love interest), the titan is just a generic perfect dreamboat. The production values are awful, it's a borderline slideshow; the ED song sung by the VAs is bad. It's important to bring up that this anime aired in a specific context though: a market starved for BL adaptations, where a lot of us will take and appreciate anything. That this exists is in and of itself a small miracle, despite the issues above. The end result: it's fine. Generally speaking, I'd recommend this anime for the following audiences: - You like short yaoi stories and have a high tolerance to "plot? what plot?" - You are starved for BL and are willing to forgive its issues - You just like listening to VAs make sex noises and having pictures to go with it is better than a drama CD.

I'm gonna be honest. I watched this anime for the smut scenes, so I wasn't disappointed with the anime, but I got disappointed with my life instead... -Story- Awful. It only makes sense if you read the manga. So go read the manga if you want a more comprehensive story. It's still ridiculous tho lol -Animation- There are many weird movements but the art is good. -Sound- I didn't pay attention to the music but the voice acting for the smut scenes is hot imo. I don't really watch hentai so I can't really say anything about it, but BL CDs are far more better.-Character- Development what? But what did you expect from a 9 episodes anime with 6 minutes / episode? -Enjoyment- I think the sex scenes in this anime would be enjoyable for fujoshi and fudanshi. Still, they're so cringe. -Overall- This anime makes me question about my life, the mangaka's life, the animators' life, the VAs' life, and the audience's life.

My opinions on this is going to be very relative to the manga. The thing is that if i had watched this with no context i probably would've given up on the first episode. However that is not the case as I have read the manga. Personally I feel like an anime adaptation should add an extra dimension that manga can't deliver. This adaptation however just felt a little bit lazy. They really didn't put any effort into choosing new angles or being creative with the advantages they had over the manga. The scenes were an exact copy of a few panels of the mangawith the addition of motion and that's all. The story was rushed and way too fast paced seeing as each episode was 6 minutes long, which is sad because I actually really enjoyed the plot when i read it. What I can say is that the character of each person is established, giving you a clear image of what type of person each character is. I say this as more of a compliment to the author than the studio. All in all, I think that it not only did not bring the manga out to life, it actually cut out a lot of scenes and increased its pace to an unenjoyable amount.
