I don't have very much experience with Western superhero media, but it feels like Tiger and Bunny draws significant roots from shows of this ilk. In addition to a poppy color palate and a jazzed up soundtrack, the show has the same vibes as the old Spiderman cartoons while maintaining its own signature spin. Tiger and Bunny 2 (part 1?) is funny when it wants to be, intense when it needs to be, and genuine always. From my experience, I've noticed that Tiger and Bunny is ridiculously overlooked despite having had such a bout of popularity in Japan for a time. The third installment of thefranchise has garnered not even 10,000 users on MAL. It's likely because Sunrise adapted it that it got so popular in Japan, also tending to the average viewer's tastes with a hint of mecha with action and comedy. Either way, it somehow brings about the "old school" feel despite being grounded in a relatively normal setting by modern standards. I love that. There is one catch to the second season though. It doesn't feel like a step up from the first, despite being produced 10 years later. Tiger & Bunny looked incredible for its 2011 debut and blew my mind with how stylish the whole package was. Tiger and Bunny 2 was... well, it was no different from that previous stylish package. But in 2022, you'd kind of hope for more. Setting aside the visuals though, the story picks up where the movie left off, with the buddy system taking over as the standard. New villains are introduced, and a greater power is hinted to be in motion behind the scenes. Though formulaic, it's nice to see Tiger & Bunny back, doing what it did best more than a decade ago. I'm looking forward to what part 2 has in store!

Tiger and Bunny was released in 2011,great style, awesome characters and a plot. Tiger and bunny 2 was released 11 years later, grapich is exactly the same, characters are still there but the plot is awful. I feel like the first series already said everything and this second season was pointless, still I like the characters, probably the only reason why you should consider watching this second season. Tiger and bunny 1 offered a fresh and unique take on superheros, but sadly after 11 years and a new season the show is not fresh and new anymore. If you liked tiger and bunny and you are here just for the character watch it,if you arelooking for something more, this is not for you.

It's me ya boy, the copium dealer Tiger & Bunny returns after 10 years of waiting. The story picks off right after Tiger & Bunny: The Rising. Like Before we follow The gang of super heroes but this time there is few extra characters and the system is changed. Now they aren't working as individuals but as buddies. Every hero now works as a duo. Some of them have very good synergies so that is a plus, some of them are a bit more weird but still surprisingly works such as Golden Ryan and Blue Rose (Ryan atleast is really into the posing and one liners). We evengot to see Origami Cyclones backstory which was quite banging. Characters have mostly stayed the same way they were but changes here and there such as the ages and the interactions between due to the buddy system. The biggest change is Golden Ryan's. He was an arrogant man during The Rising but as the episodes went on he learned to be more nice. Like the man changed and it was great to see. Then we have the 2 main baddies Mugan and Fugan voiced by Kensho Ono and Mamoru Miyano and they work so well together. I have seen some Behind the Scenes stuff of the Japanese dub of Spider-Verse where both actors were in and they worked well. Mugan and Fugan are orphans who have next powers and are working with Ouroboros. Their abilities work well together and they act like children at times, or most of the times, but they are scary. This show had a scene that made me more anxious than most horror movies and that was when Mugan and Fugan were chasing the heroes. We also get to see more of Lunatic but not as a a killing vigilante but as Yuri Petrov. The opening slaps and the ending is nice The animation took a turn compared to season one. Now every hero is in CG for some reason. It is still well animated when it is 2d and 3d. They also removed some of the classic sponsors such as Dominos and Pepsi Overall, I loved it a lot. Can't wait for the second batch.
