At the Border Defense Agency's headquarters, the B-Rank Wars are underway as each team fights intensely to secure a spot in the upcoming Away Mission. Though Osamu Mikumo and the rest of Tamakoma-2 have pulled through thus far, the final rounds will require them to push far beyond the limits of their current abilities. Taking in a talented new member, the squad begins to train and develop new strategies, but, amid these efforts, the team is shaken by a heated dispute—one that could jeopardize their ticket to the Neighbor's dimension. As someone who waited for more World Trigger since the first season, these last 2 cours have been nothing short of fantastic overall. Gone are the days where character models were a bit off and animation a bit sketchy, and now everything feels just right! If you are a fan of World Trigger, then you owe it to yourself to watch this season. Much like the second season, this season's animation has been quite on point, but these last couple of episodes and some of the highlights, which I won't mention, have had stellar animation. Animation that rivals that of Ufotable's from my perspective. The plotcontinues advancing forward with more rank wars, more great characters that help with world-building, deeper stories with emotional attachments and non-stop action except for down times. The sound fits well overall with the action and animation on display. If there's one way to sum things up, it would be that this is a must-watch season for any World Trigger fan due to the incredibly enjoyable experience! Here's to hoping that we get more seasons once the source gets more material. I'll be waiting!

This is honestly one of my all time favourite series. When I finished watching the first season, I had that 'I really wanted this to be longer' feelings (the announcement for the second season came much later). This anime just has a special place in my heart. Why do I love it so much? I have no idea and it doesn't really matter. Story: 9 The story of this particular season is not something special, however it does have huge stakes for the characters involved, more precisely for Tamakoma2. Even though the whole season is just Rank battles, the narrative is great, with twists and turns, outsmartingthe opponent's strategies and with good cliffhangers at the end of each episode. Art: 10 The animation is really good. It has improved greatly since the initial season and to be fair, it really enhances the fights and the action scenes. I don't think I have noticed any scenes where they cut corners in the animations, nor did I see any pesky CGI, which in some cases can be a huge eyesore. The designs of the characters, weapons and settings are a signature for this show and I really like when an anime has its own 'trademark' look. Sound: 10 At this point, hearing the main theme just gets me super excited and tells me that I should expect to see some sick action. When a show manages get the theme song in the viewer's head, then it means they did a good job composing the music. The beginning and the end themes are good and sit well with the anime's vibe. Characters: 10 The cream of this season was the character focus. I was glad to see much more character development for Hyuse, and I have a feeling we haven't seen all of it, which makes me excited for the future. Amatori-chan was also explored further, and I feel like this season really managed to establish her as the actual irreplaceable and OP squad member that she was meant to be. We also got to have a better look at some of the other squads, which were important for the plot in the past, but didn't get to have more spotlight. And, of course, I will always enjoy seeing Kuga on screen. He is hand down my favourite character in the entire series and one of my top 10 in anime in general. It seems I have a soft spot for short, goofy characters with messy hair. I wonder why:) Enjoyment: 10 This season was extremely enjoyable, proving that you don't need a 'save the human race' plot device to make an exceptional action anime. I also have to mention the fact that it is surprisingly enjoyable considering it's basically the link between 2 important arcs, and that it might be overlooked later, when seasons 4, 5, 6 etc (I hope) appear. Overall: 10 As I said, this is one of my favourite anime series of all time and this 3rd reason does not disappoint. I do think it should be on every anime lover's watchlist because it is just extremely well made, with highs and lows, episodes with big emotional impact, episodes with lighthearted humour, and very well choreographed fights and animation to sustain that. Go watch Wold Trigger:)

This is one of my favorite series in the entire history of anime and one that I've been following for quite some time now, since 2019 when I watched the first season, following by the announcement of the second season and ending the airing of the third season yesterday, these are my true thoughts of this latest season. Story: 10 It has a complicated situation from the beginning, little by little some new but familiar characters are included at the same time, this together with the high level of planning and strategy with which we are used to, added with a proper balance of all the triggersmake it the best closure of this great arc, which has been present practically from the beginning of the series. Art: 10 I have not seen many Toei anime, DBZ and little else, but you can tell that the animators put too much love, especially at the beginning and at the end, quite well constructed shots of all the main venues, Tamakoma, Border, the barracks, the maps of the meetings, this along with a beautiful animation of the last 2 episodes, taking as honorable mention the final assault between Tamakoma-2 and Ninomiya squadron, simply masterful. Sound: 9 The OP exudes joy, sadness, nostalgia, fear, surprise, all possible emotions for a true fan of the series, the new OST themes incorporated, called "Determination" and "Action" are the icing on the cake for key moments and high tension, along with some old ones, such as "Elite Talented". The ED is pretty calm and serene, it could have been better, but it was pretty good. Character: 9 Avoiding some spoilers, the building and consolidation of Chika and Osamu, two of the main characters, is among the best for shounen standards. Worries, despair and uncertainty disappear in order to finish what started that day. Yuma and Hyuse shine as always, not for nothing are they the aces of the team. Other mentors like Jin, Karasuma, Reiji and Konami are always there when needed. Enjoyability: 10 From chapter 1 to 14 I have been largely happy with the outcome, in the transition, strategy, commentary, unraveling and ending chapters. I have not felt dissatisfied in any chapter, in fact, each chapter leaves me wanting to continue with the story and to know what will happen with the main team. Overall: 10 This is the season that brings together all the good and the best of the franchise, it reaches the highest point of the whole plot, a great production, tension and unmatched expectation, all to finally create a spectacular final product for the most insistent followers, and also for the not so insistent. As a final comment, if you are reading this and have not yet seen the series, I highly recommend you watch it. If you are looking for a strategy series, where it's not all about fights, lights and special effects, one where you truly explore the world and even the universe, one where you are interested in seeing the growth of the characters, their various facets, desires, fears, values, objectives, goals, all this with high level animation and sound, World Trigger is definitely a good alternative, if not the best. Very good wishes to sensei, Daisuke Ashihara, I hope his condition improves very soon, to all the production staff of the series, for making it happen, I hope the next meeting is not in the distant future. Trigger off.

Let me start this review by saying: this is by far the most underrated series! More people have to watch it. Let me tell you some small things which makes this anime even better the more you watch of it! Firast of all I'm kinda hyped right now since I just saw the last episode and it didn't dissapoint in any regard! But let me tell you that I never thought I'd see the day where this anime would be continued and still maintain or even better raise the quality of the fights, story aspects and character development. The more you watch the more you're gettingyourself invested into everything it has to offer! First the fighting: over all these years, I've seen plenty of anime (over 13000 episodes) where the fights become either less relevant, more predictable and less logical over time! I could list a ton of anime which would fall under those criterias. World Trigger doesn't. It keeps the fighting aspect so interesting that I'm always learning something new, as well as technical or character wise. It strongly reminds me of Hunter X Hunter's kind of explaining techiques and how everything works, but even more accurate and resonable. The characters I already mentioned are very complex since they all have different motives, character traits and therefore different fighting styles which always fit in their teams. Some characters are more shallow than the one who are standing more in the spotlight, but this is totally understandable. What I really like is their uniqueness. Nowadays anime tend to maintain their typical tropes which you'll find in World Trigger, too, but not so overdone and more scarce, what makes it more enjoyable to watch. The artstyle fits perfectly the combination of serious fighting and relaxed, goofy moments. Especially the fights are very consistent animated and super enjoyable. And now combine the well fitting and recurring music and sounds to get you more and more excited, especially as they are fighting! :D At the end everthing fits perfectly together. I wouldn't enjoy the story as much as I do when there wouldn't be the rich development of the characters, since you need to get invested in them to empathize with them and their goals. And to top it you have those well explained and understandable fighting moments which not only helps to delevop the characters further, they maintain the suspense curve here and now, getting you hyped for more. I repeat, this is such an underrated anime, I strongly recommend it to everyone who likes a well explained / resonable world and fights. You need to watch it!

I was recommended this show from a friend of mine. Myself and most of my friends all follow esports and are huge nerds. This is by far the best anime for "esport" things and stuff. I think the idea of the show would one day make the Olympics and things one day in the future super super fun to watch on the big screen or in live. The fight scenes and how everyone thinks and all the metas that each character have to learn is sooo cool. Every character has their own style of fighting and each character has to find a way to countertheir style which I love and my friend loved. Season 1 was rough on the animation I feel like, but as the seasons go on, the animation gets really good. Each character in the background is hilarious in their own way and it brings a nice soft tone, but in times, the show can be dark. Multiple scenes where a character is close to death of some sort, then 5 minutes later. Everyone is laughing and having a good time and it lightens the mood the best way. Final opinion, this show is REALLY REALLY underrated and I hope they continue and I hope more people pick this anime up!
