To start off this is what I consider a waste of potential. Main Synopsis: This is based off another “extremely popular” manga lasting a whopping two volumes however, this hentai is only based off of the first volume. Tentacle monsters have come from the future to have suck girl’s blood and while they do that they love to suck blood from the vagina, because doing it from the neck would be too practical. In the beginning everything is going normal. Narita is your average perverted Japanese student. He loves to take peaks at girls especially at their boobs, his childhood friend is a girl called Iijima,she’s against his perversion but we all know she secretly wants him. All hell goes lose when a girl from the drama club goes missing. At drama rehearsal it is revealed that Narita has a big crush on a girl named Saotome who has also gone missing. Then everyone here’s a scream coming from done the hall, what happens next is the girl gets… I have no idea how to explain this, sucked dry by a tentacle monster. After she’s discovered by the drama club Iijima has a feeling what’s going on. Through some investigation skills Narita and Iijima find out who’s ultimately responsible for this. The main driving force for Narita and Iijima is to find all the missing girls. REVIEW OF THE PLOT: The plot is pretty simple to understand, it’s well written but, some things are a little hard to believe. The part that strikes me as the most extreme is why are the repilnoids here? It’s never explained, Iijima just says she’s from the future and I’m supposed to believe that without any exposition? Another flaw I find with this plot is why don’t we learn anything about Saotome? She’s Narita’s crush and that’s kind of a big deal. Other than that I think everything is pretty respectable. Narita is a good character sure, and comes off as weak at first but after a while he became stronger, one big plus to his character is his determination and his intelligence. As for Iijima she’s okay, she’s you’re typical anime girl from a 90’s anime. She doesn’t really stand out to me, she’s likeable but not the type of girl who I find attractive but that’s probably my personal preference. A huge positive of this hentai is how epic it is, I usually hate fighting scenes but here they’re perfect, the music was epic, and the atmosphere was amazing, you really have to see it. The ending is pretty disappointing it’s a cliff hanger with Saotome looking sad who knows what will happen? Maybe I should read the manga. But I have to address the elephant in the room, the sex, if you can call it sex. Now, I’m not a fan of tentacle porn I just find it weird. It honestly has no place in this hentai and definitely holds it back. Fobia is a hentai that could’ve done better as a regular anime. REVIEW OF THE ART AND ANIMATION The artwork is pretty good. Not as good as something like Fushigi Yugi but definitely better than most of today’s anime. It has that classic 90’s anime look to it. In terms of the male characters I’d say Narita is pretty hot. In terms of the girls they’re passable. Saotome stands out to me. Iijima is alright too if you’re into shorter hair girls. In terms of animation it’s pretty good everything moves fluently. CONCLUSION: Overall, the only people who I can recommend this to are people who are desperate for something new. It’s definitely not bad but it suffers the same like other 90’s hentai’s, it should been an anime, not a porno. I don’t know how anyone can get off to these sex scenes, watching someone die is not attractive…
