Whenever I (attempt to) assess something critically, the topic of "art" and what it entails comes up. Whether or not something feels like art matters not, since at the end of the day, it is. No matter how minor this idea of "art" is present, it's there in some form, to argue against is the same as defining an abstract term. This same term, "art," is just as abstract as it is subjective, since the closer you get to art, the closer you get to it being meaningless. What I have before me is indeed art. This, I feel, is somewhat evident in the currentscore, that being a 7.16/10. Ignoring what I've said, you would think that this does not deserve any attention as I'm giving it now. With the context, it shows the range of subjectiveness and as I've said previously, this is parallel to art. To expect otherwise is silly and goes against art as a whole. With this in mind, what is the point of all this description, and in a way, praise of this impossible to self contain piece of media. Well. . . TLDR: Bro this shit is crazy good, watch it now 10/10. Honestly though, I struggle to say anything more than that. Like yeah, duh, it looks great with a style I have seen very little of for anime music videos, the song is great with it fitting so well to everything involved, and it's about a very important scene in the anime that, without a doubt by watching this, will enhance the moment so much that it will make you appreciate the show more. The amount of emotional impact you can gauge that I felt from this, is so palpable that you can tell so much of how I care about it from the first paragraph. What's even wilder about this is that I don't feel the same emotion about the show, not even close, it's leagues away. If I could think of more things to convince you to watch I would but I value more the vague notion I've provided, so you go in with less info and be surprised by it as much as I was. I implore you to watch Yasashii Suisei / Comet whenever you have the time.

Giving this 10/10 would feel like cheating, but at least, I would be honest with myself. Watching this music video, especially with context, and aside from YAOSOBI's wonderful vocalization, it reached the height that Beastars, the TV series, could never reach, but was always after. From the first second to the last, taking into account the unique, chalk-like style, to the euphoric melodic rhythm of the song, it tingled me in a place I could never expect from something so short and deliberate like this music video. The sheer amount of emotion portrayed by both characters, Ibuki and Rouis as they take their ride to despair, felt like a fever dream from Rouis's perspective as he reminisces about the night he lost an almost father figure, better than his biological one, and also, his adoptive one. This one tends to defer from the show by exposing the brutality and betrayal of the moment at hand under different light, as the show tends to execute the event in a dark, quiet tunnel, while this music video fully displays the characters over colorful backgrounds, bold line strokes and shaky edges, not shying from the brutal send-off of Ibuki, and Rouis last cry for a second chance.
