Quanzhi Fashi has an interesting premise — a gritty magic world, an overpowered MC with multiple elements, and plenty of room for epic moments. But unfortunately, the execution falls apart, and it becomes more frustrating than enjoyable. The biggest issue is Mo Fan himself. He’s not just reckless; he often stands around watching while people die, only stepping in at the last second. It’s not that deaths happen — it’s that they happen in the stupidest ways, and half of them could be avoided if the MC acted faster or strategized even a little. It feels like the author forces deaths to raise the stakes, butit just makes Mo Fan seem clueless. On top of that, the animation quality is low, with stiff movements and awkward fight scenes that ruin the impact of battles. It’s hard to get invested when the action feels so cheap. This show could easily be a 7 or 8 if Mo Fan were smarter and more proactive, and if the animation had more care put into it. The story itself has potential — it’s just buried under frustrating writing and budget animation. If you’re okay with turning your brain off and just enjoying the idea of a dual-element MC, you might still find something to like. But if you want logical character decisions and meaningful deaths, prepare to be disappointed.

"Hey, look! Its Lina! That armour seems familiar. She even has face tats." :)) Wow. Just wow. At first I thought I'll have mixed feeling but with every episode passing I realised there's no need for that. This season is sht all through. I'll try and keep it short(ish). So, visuals. It took a serious dive. The designs, the animation, everything. Bad cinematography. Weird angles, weird moving, the mouth is moving but the VA starts later... So nothing looks good. Audio. Also bad. "Upgraded" with some weird tracks. The sis gets some angelic theme that plays every time she does something because, you know, she's a healer =holy = angel-like. At some point, some piano track is mixed at a louder volume than the VA's voice. Then, the OP is meh, the ED somewhat a little better. The VAs is meh at best. Maybe not really their fault, but still bad nonetheless. So nothing sounds good. The world-building was interesting but bad. The magic system got explained a little better (thanks to the first 2 episodes) but also introduced new powers that screw over everything that happened so far, aka plot holes. And ofc, all of that was for nothing anyway, as nothing made sense later. The pacing was all over the place, but I wasn't invested anymore so I didn't really care anyway. Really really low production value. And now for the "good" stuff. While the season started with something resembling the old ways, him dueling students, it quickly changed in something that should've been a movie instead. So: back to school, "Lets fight. Hmm it might become difficult later. I must become more powerful". Insert side quest, resolve side quest. Back to school. lets fight. So, about that side quest. Sht premise and every action in it is full of plot holes and plot contrivances. And plot devices from the start. I mean even before they left. "Can we go in that zone? No, forget it, you can't without a magician of a certain type". Two seconds later the phone rings. Then, "oh, yeah, I've already told her". Or "Hi there. Yeah, I've told my family about all of these that should've been a secret and this persons wants to also come". Yeah, just because the author needed that person as a plot device later in the story. I could go over every dumb decision but I really don't wanna. Next, the dialogue. Continuosly expository and/or cringe. Example. Some time in the last episodes, 2 students are talking. "He's been selected for the great X competition. What? You mean the great X competition that along with this and that are parts of the 3 great competitions?" It would've been funny if the other student would've responded with "No, the other one. Do you know any other with the same names?". Or the bad guy talking about the plans and how it did bad stuff.... Ugh, really cringe dialogue. Next, character development. There's none whatsoever. Everything is fake. Using one of the previous examples, while talking on the phone, the author could've make him get a choice. But the sis goes "you can refuse but know that...." as if he could anymore :))))) Yeah, great work, great piece of .... And the same level of character development goes around. Either none, either 1-dimension one. "I'm evil, I'm doing and talk evilly (thats a real word, I'm sure). Muahahahaha". Evil man trope to the fullest. Evil man does evil, it tells them its plan, it has cheesy/cringe dialogue... Not that the other ones do better. Every bad decision that there could be, its happening. Like someone gets attacked and might die and the rest are just "Oh, no" but no one lifts a finger. Every one of the characters move, talk, or think (or not), only to force the story going in that set direction. Anything that resembles logic has no place in this season. So. Atrocious, comparable with the season 2. Bad acting both visually and audio. Sh***y character development. Bad drawings, like someone gets tied-up near some wall's ruins and in next shot, a wide zoom-out shot, all the other people are before that person, in a line, even though that person was running away from them, and no walls/ruins in sight. And then, the shot changes and the ruins are there again. A person that was on the ground also is and isn't on the ground just 2 meters before them, as the scene needs it. All of that happens in the span of 2 minutes. Someone put it together, the director watched it and said "its ok, it can be aired"... Plot devices, plot holes and plot contrivances all around. Everything happens how the author wants it to, no sh*ts given that the rules of that world, created by the author earlier, can't apply. "Funny" thing. One of the sad scenes, with people crying. Me, yawning "cmon, nothing happened to him ffs! We all know it. Move on with it!" A few moments later I realised what I did and I started laughing. The apathy was really strong. I kept watching on just to see how bad it can get. Mostly thanks to the first 2 episodes (and the guest-appearance of Lina wink wink), a rating of barely 2. It should be something like 1,6. Yes, even lower than the 2nd season and that one was really really bad. But those 2 episodes had some interesting stuff, something resembling a character development for the MC and also for a teacher. It even looked somewhat better. So, not recommended. Not even something to enjoy while playing on a second monitor. Not even for those that usually like watching OP characters blowing up people using super mega skills. Have a lovely evening.
