Period of the Mouseman

This is 20 minutes me and my spouse will never get back. I wish I could get a refund on time, because I cannot un-watch this.. It feels like watching ONE's original webtoon in motion, which does have a bit of charm to it, but there really isn't much going on animation wise. The last ten minutes is a montage of still images scooching across the screen and a song that feels like it could have been written in a night playing. The story is one where it feels like it really was trying for something interesting but just missed the mark the whole way. Maybeif the animation was just a little bit more animated (for lack of a better term) or maybe if the MC wasn't a blue robot mouseman then it could have been just a little bit better. It does have a very Monogatari feel to it. The MC being Mouseman does nothing for the plot. He just... is like that for some reason? Final thoughts: Why does this exist? What was the purpose? Why does he have to be a mouseman? Why does he have 4 ears? WHY IS THERE A SEQUEL????? This anime has only made my marriage stronger, but it could ruin yours.
