夜は猫といっしょ
Fuuta-kun has never owned a cat before, but his younger sister, Pii-chan, moves into his house with the round gray cat Kyuruga. Are you looking for something short? Are you looking for something quiet? Are you looking for something relatable if you've ever owned a pet especially a cat? Then Yoru wa Neko to Issho is that anime. Every episode was very short and contained a snippet of what life is like living with a cat. Some episodes were lol, others were sensible chuckles, and some were just a nod of a head (affectionate). I'm glad that I watched it and I would be open to watching more of it. In some ways it's a shame each episode is so short, but I can see how theremight not be enough material to stretch things out to a longer episode length.

If you're a sucker for cat anime, this is for you. It just portrays the daily lives of cat owners and all the quirks cats have. Sitting by you but not sitting next to you, staring at nothing (probably a bug) for hours, eating their kibble and then yelling that its empty (its not), etc. Its just a fun anime about pet owners and their felines. The art style and music are very cute. And although this anime is very short it still gets its point across very well. If you are looking for a short cat anime, this one is absolutely wonderful. I fucking adoreit! Can't wait for season 2! <3

Yoru wa Neko to Issho is a very simple short anime; thirty 1 minute episodes with Kyuruga the cat doing various cute things. Similar to Douki-chan, this started out not from a manga, but from the artist posting it on their Twitter. The style is the same as the author's, very simplistic and it works better for the cat than the humans. If you like cats, there's no reason not to check this out and nod along to the catchy ending, and then you can head to the artist's twitter to catch up on Kyuruga's antics some more. 6/10; Sweet and simple fun with a cat.

Do you like Simon's Cat? Are you a fan of silly feline nonsense? Have you ever just wanted to watch a bunch of shorts about some rather relatable pet-owner experiences? If you said yes to any (or, indeed, all) of these, then congrats: Yoru wa Neko to Issho (A.K.A. Nights with a Cat) is for you! This is a series about a man, his sister, and the PEAK CAT nonsense they deal with. It's fun and light entertainment meant to showcase little snippets of their life with Kyuruga, a snorfling grey tomcat, and I think it does so quite well: the show's comedic timing ison point, and as someone who utterly adores cats, the series holds a lot of accuracy to our daily interactions with the fuzzballs. Obviously, this isn't the type of series one should watch when searching for drama or intrigue; instead, the episodes are silly and soothing, making me laugh and smile as I watch. If this sounds like something you would enjoy, then you'll probably get a kick out of it; if not, then it's best to move along.
