The movie begins with Fuyuki Hinata and the Keroro Platoon exploring an abandoned temple in the mountaintop city of Machu Picchu in Peru. While on the exploration, Keroro accidentally sets off a trap, and by chance they find a hidden chamber with a large blue crystal in the center, on a stand that has a key in it. Keroro leans on the key, causing the room to activate a mysterious machine, this caused the entire temple to shake. As soon as the group realized what was happening, they run out of the room. While running, Keroro accidentally loses his Kero Ball while Fuyuki catches a fleeting glimpse of a glowing young woman as he is running out, and tells Keroro that there was a girl in the room, but he is forced to leave the room before he can say anything else. The group successfully escapes, while the girl (now sprouting a pair of glowing wings) watches them leave - while back in the chamber, something is growing within the crystal... (Source: AniDB)

Recommended

Take everything loved from the first two films, throw in a bunch of mythology gags and famous shout-outs that the series is known for, and then CRANK IT UP TO ELEVEN!! Seriously, a must for any fan of Keroro Gunso/Sgt. Frog. The action was intense, the humor was off the walls, and the theme of friendship being the most powerful force ever resonated more than a frog on a summer night.

Out of the five Keroro movies released today, this has to be the best one. It is the only movie that really catches both Keroro's sharm & humor, which makes it feels like an extended TV-episode (Which is great compared to the other movies). The story is okay at best as the idea of a evil twin brother has been used countless of times in both cartoons, anime and games. The way they execute it is however, really good. It will show the fans what Keroro really thinks about Pekopon and make him even more outstanding than before. There is also some heavy action sceneswhich does not go on too long, as it did in that horrible fourth movie. There is also a lot more empathy on the humor part, unlike the second movie, though this one has a very dramatic end. The art is great and looks just like the TV-show, which is the best art style for Keroro Gunso. The animation, however, is superb. The characters constantly move or does something in the background. The budget for this movie must have been pretty good. The ending song is perhaps the most catchy one I've heard in ages, made by the same artist who sung the ending song for the Ghibli Movie "The cat Returns". All the frogs gets enough screen time, so no matter what frog you prefer, you will not be disappointed. There is also some fanservice as Natsumi and a couple of other girls are dressed quite inappropriately in some scenes. Not to mention the girl this plot revolves about, who looks like she is from "Ikkitousen" or "Sora no Otoshimono" because of her enormous breasts and huge "behind". Most likely made to please the older otaku crowd, which is also a part of the demographic for this series. I enjoyed this movie a lot. The animation is great, the story is good and the movie does not seem like it's made only for the purpose of earning even more cash. This is one of the better Anime movies, but will still only appeal to the fans of the show. I will recommend this to every Keroro fan, as this is a great addition to your DVD library. It's not hard to get hold on either, as the official hong kong DVD edition has english subtitles too like the earlier keroro movies (hint hint)

Mixed Feelings

Again you must watch this if you are a fan of sergeant keroro. the movie is a vebue for keroro platoon to show what they capable and what they really are, "soldiers, war machines on the battlefield".They are not just another doraeon copycats and for koyuki fans out there, here is a chance to see her. the story suffers greatly from its inorriginaliy. Instead of coming up with a new fresh idea, they reclyed the story from the first two movies. statues that emits brainwashing wave frim the first and naughty punk bent on takingover the world. The battle is as great as usual, but it's pretty confusing bebause in my opinion they had a chance to destroy enemies at the first half of the movie. but instead of doing that the gang run aimlessly. and the enemies ain't that strong either, at the second movie the gang had to regrouped first because maru had many strong minions. in this movie there are only 4 enemies of which only three can actually fight evil keroro, sun go kong inspired guy, and a former bos of giroro. The story is 100 minutes long, maybe to save them from hardwork, the production team added phylosophical element to the mobie. throughout the movie Evil wonder what kind of special bond do Keroro and fuyuki have. later on in the heat of battle the three debated on the meaning of friendship. very clever, because animators only had to animate the close up faces of those three. Characters can Saburo and kururu be more awesome? Kururu is trying to hack enemy's super computer while being electrocuted by cables and he was at his limit when saburo showed up.. Saburo also looks cool without making people around him stupid. As usual Koyuki and Dororo have a great chemistry and they can work as a team eventhough they can't see and hear each other. Giroro was about to be blasted with a laser canon at a point blank range when natsumi throw him an army knifethat he used to clog the canon's nozzle. Ending again the ending is dissapointing , Evil Keroro and his henchmen were let off the hook and fully reedemed. the ending kinda makes you think that keroro gunsou is slowly edging toward doraemon story because Keroro seem has lost his desire to conquer and is content of being fuyuki's "best friend"
