Spy x Family Code: White
SPY×FAMILY CODE: White
Loid Forger, an elite spy, is warned by his handler that he may potentially be reassigned from his ongoing mission, Operation Strix. To maintain his position, he must make significant progress toward the operation's objectives, which involves having his adoptive daughter Anya earn sufficient Stella Stars to become an Imperial Scholar at Eden Academy. After learning of a cooking contest that awards the winning student with a Stella Star, Loid researches the judge's preferred dessert to help increase Anya's odds. However, perfectly recreating the judge's favorite meremere requires more than just following a recipe. Thus, the Forgers embark on a vacation to the Frigis region to try an authentic meremere. Not all goes smoothly on the trip, as the Forger family ends up entwined in a sinister plot to reignite war between the countries of Ostania and Westalis. [Written by MAL Rewrite]

I really love this fiction, it's good and emotional and funny. Of course, there are exaggerated aspects, but sometimes I think that's the funny part. Maybe my only regret is that Yor and Loid are never connected. I know it makes sense, they both have completely different realities in their minds, but I love the Forger family so much that it's hard to watch this series without wanting them to be a real family. Of course, if they were in love, it would probably weaken the intrigue of the fiction, but maybe they'll give us a little scene in the finale where we see themas a happy family when it's all over and peace is restored. I don't have high hopes, but... I was a bit skeptical about the movie, I didn't watch it in the theater because I thought it wouldn't be a good movie to watch, but if I had gone, I would have loved it. But it's nice to watch it like this.

I'll admit there may be some biases in my review having experienced a full house at midnight in Japan on a weekday, but this movie really encapsulates the charms of Spy x Family while keeping the audience engaged with a high-stakes story. Comparing it to the 2 seasons that have aired so far, this (while not "canon") is the most exciting Spy x Family arc I've been able to watch. If you enjoy Spy x Family as a whole, it's a great fun watch. Even for new watchers who want a nice movie to see if they want to give the show a try, itgives enough exposition to the characters for you to jump right in. Animation - top notch work from the animators at CloverWorks & Wit once again. The action scenes were splendid, easy to follow, and felt nicely paired with the ongoing plot. Yor fans will eat good. Story - Pacing was really nice, and what initially feels like separate anime episode mini-stories eventually blend nicely into an over-arching plot Humor - Each cast member's humor was written and executed in a very on-brand way. Especially Anya... But, yes, the movie is not perfect by all means. You can check my profile for my rating scale. There's inconsistencies, plot holes that make sense for a "filler movie", and lack of screen time for certain characters. Overall though, it was really enjoyable and a fun winter flick!

Visually, "Spy x Family Code: White" is a true masterpiece. The animation in the film is very smooth and dynamic, keeping the viewer engaged from beginning to end. It is executed with meticulous attention to detail, both in the characters and the backgrounds. The scenery, especially the winter landscape of Frigis, is designed with impressive attention to detail. The use of particle effects such as snow, sparks, and smoke adds a realistic dimension to each scene, highlighting the technical mastery of the team creating this film. At the same time, the minimal use of limited animation techniques and the inclusion of dynamic characters in the backgroundsdemonstrate the extraordinary effort of the animators, who paid attention to every detail. Narratively, the film does a great job. The viewing experience is introduced by the well-known narrator from the series, who effectively presents the main characters, their occupations, powers, and motivations. This allows even those who have never encountered the "Spy x Family" series before to easily understand the context and engage with the plot. "Spy x Family Code: White" proves that the true art of Japanese animation lies in the ability to tell universal stories through the lens of extraordinary circumstances.

If you liked the TV shows, and if you liked the characters, well they are all here, almost all of them. The movie feels like a paint by number box checking exercise. Everyone gets to do their "thing" and gets their big screen screen times. But the plot is thin and in normal Anime OVA fashion, nothing is at stake. Sure there are big action, great sakuga moments to show the budget of a movie. But it just doesn't feel like a proper film. its fun, lots to see, but I was still checking my watch and rolled my eyes a lot at multiple points ofthe film. I don't know if its better or worse, when I think the film itself knows what its doing.

It was very random. The story kinda happens near Christmas time and I watched it during Christmas in Japan so it was just about the right time to watch the movie. Alot of things just happened spontaneously. The plot is pretty standard, the family gets introduced, they chill, a chance to get a star is given, the family tries to get it, goes through hard ship, family happy again. It is a great movie and matches with the Spy x Family worlds energy perfectly. I'd definetly look forward to Anya doing the weirdest things possible in another possible future Spy x Family movie. In general 10/10, good ED songsand funny story. Will watch again when film releases in EU.
