Great conclusion to Round 6 wont spoil who won but the fight had me on the edge the whole time ! Really love the story its such a unique take on a simple fighting anime, love getting to see the takes on both the gods and the ancient human figures. English VA's were on point for all the characters some really great performances throughout and the main characters for round 6 really did a great job and where well written. The animation is still a little lack-luster but is still better than Season 1's was so I'm hopeful that if we get more seasons itwill only get better. Really hoping for a Season 3 cause that ending tease for Round 7 has me pumped !

This was probably the most incredible 5 episodes of anime ever seen. Being in avid anticipation of the Second part of Season 2 for what feels like ages, it was only natural for the hype to be overwhelming. In terms of review breakdown (keeping it as spoiler free as possible): Story: 9.5/10 Given the long awaited return of the second part of the season on Netflix and only containing 5 episodes, it was expected that story and character development be rushed (especially since Season 3 was in doubt - however, this has changed with there being a renewal confirmed for 2024). Given this luxury, the remaining 5 episodes expandedupon the anime's version of Buddha providing both background and character development in the most unexpected of ways. Even the opponents had relatable backstories bordering on fact but siding with fictitiousness. The final fight was superbly orchestrated with what seemed like decisive moments, yet indecisively working itself to a final conclusion. Animation: 9.1/10 Fantastic visuals. The anime has been consistent with its animation since Episode 1, featuring larger than life scenes with a great amount of detail placed into the characters afflictions. In some ways its feels is modern, with its color scheme both vibrant and nostalgic - almost like playing a remastered version of Street Fighter on a high-spec PC with a RTX4090 graphics card. Intro could use some work, but that's just nitpicking. Sound: 8.4/10 Again, the intro could use some work but on point during dialogues and fight scenes. You can even hear reverberations in the background when some of the divine treasures meet with the resistance of other opponents weapons. Characters: 9/10 Buddha - Fantastic re-envisioning of his story line. Villains - Each exhibits complex narratives (except the last guy who's back story didn't make too much sense and not a lot was explained) Zeus - Comical as always (with his strength uncharacteristically creeping through) Brünnhilde - Always with an air of mystery about her (hope we get more information on her in Season 3) Odin - As menacing as ever (good to see him asserting dominance) [Marvel got nothing on him] Other: 9.5/10 Major decisions around setting, ambiance, tone and dialogue worked really well this season. I felt like the inclusion of a B----b could have been more profound and had more effect. But maybe they're keeping that for Season 3. My hype and excitement for these last 5 episodes was through the roof - so naturally I have to give it a 9.1/10

Okay okay okay!!!! This is what I call a true work of art. I already entered the manga because I wanted to see Qin and Hades in action but just these 5 episodes made me love the anime the more. Buddha carried this part the most. In case you might have thought him reaching enlightenment and mastering the Samsara caused him to be spoilt, he truly cares and although I thought he was gonna kill Zero and let him die in agony and misfortune, he opened his arms and welcomed him with a punch of eternal happiness and joy. Damn! If I knew it wasgonna be this good, I would have prepared myself. Truly fantastic! I really do hope it gets a sequel.

So this series has had its problems, there’s no doubt about that. This partial season, though, isn’t one of them. Only showcasing a single fight, this one has a lot of interesting dynamics at play, albeit it’s probably over complicated and absurd on multiple levels. That being said, if you’re not coming here for the absurd, then you probably aren’t still on this boat because it left for the Bermuda Triangle a long time ago. How does this rate? Probably one of the more interesting fights, albeit not the best so far. It’s vibrant, features a couple of plot twists, and works well as ahype machine. I like some aspects more than others - sudden power boosts don’t tend to interest me - but the overall package is good. A little better than part 1, big improvement over season 1, well worth the watch if you're a fan.

"Life is like a boxing match between a man and a god. Except the man forgot his gloves and the god is on a coffee break." - Every spectator in that arena with some common sense Hello, fellow anime aficionados! Let's step into the ring with Shuumatsu no Walküre II Part 2, where men and gods are supposed to duke it out for the ultimate title of pardon with dreams of mercy. But alas, this season feels more like a slapstick comedy than the epic battle we were promised. It's not a total knockout, a very disappointing 5. It's like expecting a heavyweight title fight andgetting a pillow fight by the contenders are still two world class heavyweights - it's like two school kids knocking it out with powers grabbed from straight up asspulls. The story this time around, is like a boxer who forgot his shorts - it's trying to hit hard, but it's just embarrassing. The characters are like fighters who showed up to the ring in clown shoes - they're giving it their all, but they're not packing the punch we usually expect from the show. Of course, blame here should be partly shouldered by the mangaka as well, but the studio didn't help either. The animation is like a slow-motion replay of a missed punch - it's lacking in detail. The two names of the only fight in this season, hold great power and reverence, yet neither were well displayed nor excellently animated as compared to simply drawings from the manga. And then there's the elephant in the room - the measly five episodes. It's like preparing for a 12-round fight and getting a quick knockout in the first round. It's not that the knockout is bad, it's just...too quick. And when you're expecting a full fight, a quick knockout just doesn't cut it. So, should you watch Shuumatsu no Walküre II Part 2? Well, if you're a die-hard fan who's willing to sit through a few lackluster rounds for the sake of the story, then yes. But if you're looking for the same level of excitement and quality as the previous seasons, then you might want to adjust your expectations. In the end, we're all just spectators in the grand arena of anime. And sometimes, the fight doesn't live up to our expectations. But we stick around, round after round, hoping for that knockout punch. Thanks for reading, you beautiful ringside spectator. Until next time, keep your gloves up and your expectations low.
