A comedy anime about gender dynamics that goes nowhere. This anime started out interesting, a fairly new concept introduced to the new romcom anime genre. All characters are quirky, other than the boring male lead. While each episode is dedicated to exploring the relationships growing between the three female characters and male characters, their relationships do not go further and hit a ceiling. Of three relationships, the one between Kohaku and Hagi is the most insufferable, Hagi is a terribly pathetic written character and his awkwardness is neither funny nor enticing, it’s for the most part, aggravating. I dislike it anytime he’s on screen. Asagisgolden retriever energy is very funny and his relationship with Fuji is both hilarious and wholesome. Suo is also a very enticing female lead and is the most charismatic person in this anime, however her goal to win over the male lead Tokiwa is very unrewarding because Tokiwa is a very bland lead and says nothing but generic things. This anime had a lot of potential, however it fails to deliver anything rewarding. I don’t hate it, but I can’t say I can recommend it either. Watch at your own risk.

this a a romance comedy where three guys go to a college mixer and find not three girls but three girl cross-dressed as handsome men as the three girls work at a drag bar that employs female staff to cross dress to wait on a mainly female customer base. the three guys and the three cross dressed girl get along and the three guys find themselves at the drag bar often. there is no drama for the most part no love triangles or anything like that the three couples if you can call them that as none seem to be officially dating are Sou the crossdressing princethat goes to college dress as a man as she often work right after school and is given the school prince treatment by a group of female fans is paired up with Tokiwa you average college student Kohaku placed the arrogant type when cross dress is pair up with Hagi another average college student finally the cross dress Fuji that a male kuudere and drag bar bartender/ B.L. manga author is paired up the adorkable and innocence Asagi in short if you like romantic comedies with ensemble cast or multiple couples than maybe this is worth a watch note the female characters spend 80% of the time cross dressed so it that too close to Yaoi for you maybe give this one a pass

I liked the idea of this show, at least what I thought the idea was: a romance where the girls are tomboys. Tomboys rule and aren't usually very well represented, so I thought it could be fun. Instead what I got was a bunch of tropes and repeated jokes for 12 episodes straight, but now they're "crossdressing themed". This show accentuates by a lot the problems I have with anime not accepting gay people in our society as something normal. There are ENTIRE EPISODES dedicated to Hagi (this show's most annoying character) just worried if he's gay because he's attracted to a women who cross dresses. He'ssuch a good example of how anime thinks how funny a dude being gay is. Besides all that this is just one more painfully generic show that does not even try to explore characters besides seeing them in slice of life, and for a slice of life show, there are a whole lot better you can do. Also the show has a non-ending, literally just stops in the middle, and I have my doubts about the existence of a season 2

So I recently finished this anime and I have to say it started out strong! I watched it week to week and then eventually it fell off because the story just didnt really go anywhere. Now is it a week to week watch? No. But I could see this anime being a fun binge watch if you are looking for something with extremely low stakes with not much character progression. Now I will admit the romance elements between the 3 main male and female characters is cute but it doesn't really progress much in the anime other than light teasing. Its simple and that's goodenough for me! It had a very interesting premise about gender roles that was also very unique. It wasn't forceful nor cliche which I have to give it props for. I would have loved to see them speed run some of these episodes as it was extremely slow and I hear it is that way in the manga as well so here's to hoping the MCs EVER get together! It was an average rom com BL? That you could watch in your free time but if you decided to skip it I wouldn't blame you either!

The initial premise of this anime promised a lot, and the promises were kept. There are 3 delightfully different pairings, so there is something for everyone, with vastly different pacing. The mystery about the true identity of the female main characters was cleared pretty quickly, but that wasn't all that bad. Sure, some moments or characters from this show can be annoying at times, but rhat doesn't make them less endearing. The show makes great use of miscommunication and misunderstandings for comedic purposes and clears them up pretty quickly, which avoids the oh so typical frustration from many RomComs. The ending of this season left things pretty open, and offersa great starting point for a season 2, and I really hope that there will be a second season
