Story It's a good donghua so far. The story has potential and follows the typical cultivation genre. Characterization Characters are pretty interesting and mysterious to a point. The MC is pretty good; the most interesting character I find is the chaos spirit pet of the MC. Mostly, they are well-rounded. Animation Quality As a new donghua, this one has decent world-building and animation quality; it fits well with the story. Though it's just the first season, I find it pretty interesting. Humor About the sense of humor of the characters—I find it interesting, actually, but then again, it depends on the mood of the individual watching. Not all anime should be afull-time serious act, I guess. Give it a go with an open mind.
