Not Recommended

The very concept of a recap makes me feel belittled and is of zero value once the anime has finished airing. Recaps suck and barely anything's happened in Secrets of the Silent Witch that requires such. I get that a recap briefly explains something by giving just the main points or details but if someone did forget what's happened, butchering key moments by glossing/skipping over them ends up being unhelpful. I can only assume the parent anime has fallen behind schedule and they used this for additional time on the finale. Just act like this never existed and you'll be much better off.

I just don't get it the meaning of recap episode i mean how can a person enjoy when the recap of 25 mins tells everything about previous 9 episodes of 24 mins each like it just ruins ur perspective about the anime cus the recap skips the fun parts and just fills the whole episode with half information .. i mean who ever has watched the 9 episodes ( currently present ) has ntng to do with the 9.5( recap episode ) Also it would have been maybe better if the main dialouges were shown and the voices instead of a narrator explaining the storyof 9 episodes in the background which makes it more boring and less intresting

Mixed Feelings

In a better anime, a recap episode like this might be important for the pacing and/or storytelling. But as it stands, Silent Witch already suffers greatly from bad pacing. The show focuses heavily on certain aspects while skipping over others, and leaving the rest out entirely. if the anime had been given more time to focus on the characters and plot points, let things settle in, and allow the viewer to become immersed in the world, this recap might have been a nice reprieve. But with the current state of the anime, it's just a baffling decision because not much has happened yet that needsrecapping. Maybe if the anime had more moving parts, but it does not.
