Aside from one good fakeout gag near the end and the final boss's admittedly decent character design, this OVA is the bottom of the barrel for Dragon Ball, with a nothing-plot and terrible animation to boot. It's a recap movie for some Super Nintendo RPG, so nobody should really be expecting more out of it, but the worst part is that the backstory lore stuff was almost interesting enough to make it worthwhile. This would have been a pretty good 4-5 episode TV arc if done correctly. For some reason they remade this later, and removed the video game tie-in stuff... I wonder about it,but I also really don't want to have to watch this story again because that version has an even worse reputation somehow.
