After he was killed, the magic of the Tower created a sort of hollographic double of Kally (called a doppelganger) to try and attack the rest of the party. Neeba was able to tell the doppelganger that attacked him was not the realy Kally as while the doppelganger attacked using the right hand, Kally was actually left handed. Kally was left as dead.
