He was a member of the moderate faction of the Montague dictatorship, with a large amount of administrative authority as the mayor of Neo Verona. He is later stripped of his title and nobility and even slated for assassination by Duke Montague, for allowing the Red Whirlwind to create civil discontent throughout Neo Verona and for speaking out against Montague and his efforts at instituting permanent martial law throughout the city. Juliet (as Odin), Francisco and Curio along with Tybalt thwart the attempt at his life and takes his family into hiding. During the denouement of the show, he is reestablished as mayor.
