After graduation, he eventually gets a job through his parent on the "Terminal service," which is the department of the SAI Corp that is known as first-rate corporation although at first he does not know what they do. He does not have a lot of knowledge about the "Giftia." At the end of the series, after confessing his feelings to Isla and spending her final days with her, he ends up retrieving her, complying with her wish for him to be the one to do it.
