She uses her position to bully Asashi and other characters who might have a juicy scandal due to the popularity of her publication. She has two younger brothers. The glasses she wears are fake and were given to her by Asashi when they were children. Mikan has liked Asashi since then but has not been able to reveal her feeling to him. At some point the glasses became possessed by a fortune god in training who threatens to reveal her secret.
