He was hired because he comes from a family of military generals. In actuality Ezeldarm is Bandit, an extension of the terrorist group World Savers. Seledy is a 90-year-old war veteran who's bitter and unsatisfied with the academy's use of proxy wars. To fix this, he aims to become a martyr figure by throwing the students into a life-or-death scenario and broadcasting it. This is so he can make the world think about the "reality of war." Because of serving in wars, 90% of his body has been replaced by Optima, artificial organs. This allows him to control his LBXs, Phantom and D-Ezeldee, without using a CCM. He can also create electromagnetic interference. Seledy is also able to activate the Overload, an ability that heightens one's senses.
