He apparently has a quiet personality and rarely interacts with anyone besides Mitsumune. When younger, Hayato decided to protect Mitsumune from getting bullied in school. Ever since, he gets angry whenever Mitsumune is about to do something inappropriate. He was abused by his parents who lived in a posh residential area. They didn't fit in with the neighbours, so they tried to show off their 'ideal' son. If Hayato did anything his parents disliked, he would get abused and thrown into the attic, where his grandmother was left to die.
