In episode 6, he tells Mabel there was no point in grieving since she can just rebuild what has been destroyed and asks her if she agreed. In episode 11, he appears to be Evans, a bartender of the bar Ilas drinks in. At the end, it's revealed that he resurrected Ilas when his hometown was attacked, but then kills him as he failed to create a Phantom Book.
