He rose in ranks of the corporation very fast, since all who stood in his way had died in mysterious accidents where he was the only lucky survivor. Police suspected him to be the culprit, but they couldn't find enough evidence. He have strong supernatural powers of his own which he had used to eliminate his opponents. When Asou Kazami summoned the Inukami to kill Nagumo – it chewed off his arm, but he managed to absorb and tame it's powers which he had used in fight against Subaru. Nagumo was killed off by Seishirou when Subaru was knocked out in the fight.
