He wears a loose, magenta Chinese tunic with a black trim, a matching sash is tied at the waist, brown pants navy blue boots. His true form is that of a white fox. In the 1985 anime, Youken is an anthropomorphic water buffalo with dark blue fur, big ears, and a pair of dark gray horns. His lips are pale purple and his eyes have white sclerae, blue irises, and black pupils. He wears a white tunic under a blue tunic with light blue trim and yellow edges, a red sash is tied around his waist, yellow pants, and brown boots. In the 1996 anime, Youken is an anthropomorphic water buffalo with black fur, big ears, and a pair of dull brown horns. His lips are pink and his eyes have red sclerae, yellow irises, and tiny black pupils.
