They are known traveling throughout the regions of the Pokémon world, stealing Gym Badges so they don't have to work hard for them, and they sometimes sell them to make some money. As Misty, Tracey, and Sakura were visiting the Badge maker Kinso in Rifure Village, the thieves stole the Badges the trio had been working on. Fortunately, Sakura's Beautifly tracked down the thieves. After being defeated, they returned the Badges and quickly ran away, vowing to never steal any more Gym Badges ever again.
