Her dowsing abilities are a great asset in her role as a Head Diver. She has a past connection with Mugito Mamon and the Superhuman Federation. She marries Shou before the final battle, but contracts Algernon and kills both of them. Their unborn child somehow manages to survive and is rescued by one of the D-Type Hunters. Kaede is voiced by Yuko Minaguchi.
